Advanced services

We have invested considerably in our team and kit to make a number of advanced services available to our clients. We also accept referrals from other practices.

Orthopaedics

Our veterinary team have undertaken advanced training to allow us to perform orthopaedic surgery in our practice. If your pet develops an abnormality involving their skeleton or joints, such as elbow dysplasia, a patella (kneecap) that gets stuck, or a torn cruciate ligament, an orthopaedic procedure may help them.

Read Jonathan Niccol bio

Since qualifying as a veterinarian in 1999, I’ve successfully owned and led multiple Vets4Pets practices. Over the years, my experience has allowed me to build high-performing teams and deliver top-tier veterinary care to a wide range of pets. Today, I am proud to own two practices: the award-winning Vets4Pets Worcester, which I’ve owned since 2010, and Vets4Pets Evesham, which I acquired in 2024.

My team and I are dedicated to providing exceptional care for your pets, whether they are dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, gerbils, rats, birds, geckos, frogs, skinks, tortoises, snakes, or bearded dragons. With a highly skilled team of six vets and twelve nurses, we are here to ensure your pets lead healthy, happy lives.

Since 2011, Vets4Pets Worcester has also been a dedicated training practice for vets and nurses. I believe that passing on the skills and experience I’ve gained is essential for the next generation of veterinary professionals. This commitment to education keeps our team continuously learning and growing. Currently, three of our vets are working towards certifications in cardiology, imaging, and soft tissue surgery, while our nurses hold numerous qualifications in areas such as behaviour, surgical care, consulting nurse clinics, and emergency treatment. By fostering ongoing learning, we ensure that we remain at the forefront of veterinary medicine while nurturing the future of our profession.

We are also committed to continuously investing in our practice to improve the care we offer. This includes advanced technology such as AI to assist in reading X-rays, facial recognition software for urine analysis, and in-house laboratory testing for fast, accurate results. Our investment also enables us to provide cutting-edge treatments, including keyhole surgery (laparoscopic surgery), CT scanning, stem cell therapy for arthritis, and 3D tomography. These technologies allow us to diagnose your pet’s conditions quickly, reducing stress for both you and your pet, and ensuring more effective treatments.

A unique aspect of our service is the use of telemedicine for specialist-level consults. For complex cases, we collaborate with experts to develop the best treatment plan, often at no extra cost to our clients. However, certain specialist telemedicine consults, such as echocardiograms, abdominal ultrasounds, and oncology consultations, may incur a charge—though these are still much more affordable than a referral to a specialist hospital. Our commitment is to ensure that your pet receives the most informed care possible, whether from our own team or through specialist input.

As a certified surgeon, I personally manage many of our more complex surgeries. With our ongoing investment in cutting-edge tools and facilities, we continuously strive to provide your pets with the best possible care.

Vets4Pets Worcester is open 7 days a week, offering routine check-ups, advanced treatments, and emergency care. Our goal is simple: to keep your pets healthy and to give you peace of mind.

Vets4Pets Worcester is committed to delivering outstanding care for all pets, including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, gerbils, rats, birds, geckos, frogs, skinks, tortoises, snakes, and bearded dragons. Our experienced team of six veterinarians and twelve nurses is dedicated to helping your pets enjoy healthy, fulfilling lives.

We are dedicated to consistently enhancing our practice to elevate the quality of care we provide. This commitment includes investments in advanced technology, such as AI for interpreting X-rays, facial recognition software for urine analysis, and in-house laboratory testing to deliver rapid, precise results. Our investment also allows us to offer cutting-edge treatments, including laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery, CT scanning, stem cell therapy for arthritis, and 3D tomography. These innovations enable us to swiftly diagnose your pet’s health conditions, minimizing stress for both you and your pet, and ensuring more effective treatments.

One of the unique features of our service is telemedicine access for specialist consultations. For complex cases, we work with experts to create the most suitable treatment plan, often without additional charges for our clients. However, certain specialized telemedicine consultations, such as echocardiograms, abdominal ultrasounds, and oncology assessments, may carry a fee—though they remain much more cost-effective than referrals to specialist hospitals. Our commitment is to ensure your pet receives the most informed care possible, whether through our own team or expert collaboration.
