My name is Terry and I am a vet at Vets4Pets in St Austell, Cornwall. I am very proud of our incredible clinic; we have all the latest equipment including a digital xray machine, ultrasound and so much more! I graduated from Onderstepoort, University of Pretoria in South Africa in 2 and one of my first jobs as a vet (15 years ago!) was here in St Austell. I loved the area so much that it has long been a dream of mine to return. I love how challenging being a vet can be with something different to deal with every day, helping pets and their owners as best I can.

I grew up in Liskeard and, after graduating from university of Nottingham, moved back home to Cornwall where I have worked as a small animal vet ever since. I currently live near Bodmin with my husband, daughter, dog and cat.

I've always had an interest in managing chronic pain and have been using acupuncture for many years. I have been trained with the Western Veterinary Association of British Veterinary Acupuncturists (ABVA)

It was an easy decision to start my Veterinary journey at Vets4Pets in St. Austell - I have great support from my colleagues for my first years as a Veterinary new graduate, and a safe and healthy environment to grow as the best professional I can be. I am really excited for what the future will bring.

I joined the team in January 2020 after moving to Cornwall from Hampshire. I feel very lucky to be part of the team at Vets4Pets St Austell.

I have worked in the veterinary industry for 6 years, both as a receptionist and a nursing assistant. I love meeting all the 4 legged friends that visit us, and their lovely owners. When I am not at work you will most likely find me exploring with my crazy dog Maisie, or having cuddles with my guinea pigs.

Having moved down from London in 2017 and leaving a job I had enjoyed for 14 years, I was lucky enough to be offered a position here at Vets 4 Pets. I am loving my time here as I do not currently have a pet at home, so I can enjoy all the lovely pets that come in each day. I love reading, knitting and look forward to lots of walks when my next furry family member finds me.
