Meet the team
I gained my veterinary surgeon degree in 1999 at The Royal Veterinary Colleague in London.
In practice I enjoy most aspects of veterinary care but have a special interest in cardiac ultrasound, endoscopy and orthopaedic work.
I am one of three Joint Venture Partners at Hucknall and have enjoyed seeing the practice grow from strength to strength whilst meeting all our new clients and their pets.
In my spare time, I enjoy walks with my dog, Regi a fun loving cocker spaniel, and holidays in Cyprus with all the family.
Agata joined our practice at the beginning of 2023. Before that she worked in a busy charity hospital. She is enjoying all aspects of the general practice. In her spare time she loves hiking in the Peak District
I gained my degree in 2020 at the Royal Istanbul university, although I have been in small animal practices since 2015.
I enjoy all aspects of veterinary but my main focus is physiotherapy and pain management.
The things that bring me the most joy in my job is seeing my patients getting better and giving them belly rubs and chin scratches of course.
In my spare time I love doing research and watching funny animal videos. Feel free to show me your favourite pet video.
I graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in 2020. However, I started to work in small animal practices before my degree to gain as much experience as possible.
I find all parts of this profession exciting, my special interests are internal medicine and soft tissue surgeries.
Through out my life I have own many pets such as; birds, cats, dogs, and turtles. since a young age I have been very fond of animals, I feel they always bring me peace and happiness. That being one of the main reasons why I became a vet, it also allows me to speak for those who have no voices.
I started veterinary nursing in 2008 in a small private practice and gained my degree in veterinary nursing from Brackenhurst in 2012.
I have worked in first opinion and referral practices and have done out of hours emergency work since 2009 before starting with Vets4Pets in 2014.
In 2018 I became a practice partner of Hucknall, partnering in a veterinary practice has always been a lifelong dream.
I have learned many skills in the time I have been nursing and enjoy continually furthering my education to improve my patient care. I have a very keen interest in schedule three procedures which is where nurses are able to perform minor surgeries such as lump removals and stitch ups, and this is something I regularly practice. I am also interested in pain management. I have attended education CPD events which have given me the knowledge to assess pain with the veterinary surgeon and discuses multimodal approaches to management, I am also trained in nerve blocks.
I enjoy Nurse Clinics where I get to meet our lovely patients but feel my favourite are senior clinics. I feel our senior pets have given us so much love and joy in our lives the care we give them in their older years when their needs change is extremely important.
in addition to my nursing I am a trained mental health first aider, pet health counsellor, diabetic advisor, and clinical coach for trainee veterinary nurses.
At home I have three cocker spaniels Rogue, Binx, Milo, and a horse Griff. In my spare time I enjoy long country walks with the dogs and regularly am out competing my horse.

My Name is Alexandra but Alex for short. I achieved my veterinary nurse degree at Brackenhurst university and have been a qualified veterinary nurse for four years. I love all aspects of nursing and enjoy learning new things everyday.
I have a special interest in cat behaviour which is why I was so excited to join the Hucknall team in Aug 2020 as Hucknall holds it's cat friendly award. I also enjoy anaesthesia so I am always ready to get stuck in to surgery - routine, emergency or otherwise.
At home I have my dog Charlie, and a cat called BoBo - please talk to me about your lovely pets especially staffies as I love them. In my spare time I enjoy dog walks and have taken up cross stitching.
I am currently a student veterinary nurse and started at the practice in March 2024 where I have been training alongside the rest of the team, learning something new every day.
I love meeting all of your pets, young and old, especially those who love a good belly rub! I especially enjoy inpatient care, looking after the animals when they are recovering from surgery, or are being monitored when unwell.
I have 5 rabbits and 2 guinea pigs at home, so I do have a soft spot for the smaller pets in practice and am interested in learning more about rabbit health and anaesthesia.
In my spare time (when I’m not busy with my furry family) I enjoy playing netball, having family parties and visiting zoos and wildlife parks.
I started working for Hucknall Vets4pets In June 22 after a career change from working as a administrator in care homes.
I love meeting and greeting people with their fabulous pets, and hearing about what peoples pets get up to. Everyone at Hucknall my colleagues and our clients are lovely and I am really enjoying my new role.
