Meet the team
Garrick graduated from the University of Pretoria in 2005 and has now spent many years in the UK. He came to us from a practice in Dartford, having enjoyed 2 years with them. Garrick became a partner in the Harlow practice in June 2011. He prefers the medicine side of veterinary work over surgical procedures and achieved his GPCert in Small Animal Medicine in 2013, his GPCert in Endoscopy in 2015 and his PgCert in Small Animal Medicine in 2017 Garrick is now pursuing a GPCert in Cardiology to expand his knowledge. He is particularly successful in helping clients to maintain the quality of their pet's life during terminal illness. Garrick has a passion for sport and can be found, summer weekends, playing cricket on local village greens and at other times with his beloved family.
Natasha is a new addition to our team at Harlow, having graduated in 2021 from the University of Cambridge. She has a varied veterinary background with experience working in canine behaviour, as well as being part of research projects into feline dementia and the genetics of obesity in dogs. Natasha is excited to continue getting to know the clients and patients at Harlow
Felix graduated from the RVC in 2023 and proudly represents the newest addition to our compassionate team. Originally from Hong Kong, Felix has quickly adapted to the vibrancy of London and developed a deep affection for the serene countryside. Outside of work, you may often find Felix playing a variety of sports, with a particular passion for badminton and ultimate frisbee. He is dedicated to offering top-tier care for all our furry patients and is eager to meet our wonderful clients.
Kelsey moved to Veterinary Nursing in 1997 after trying the conventional commuting 9 to 5. She trained at a local veterinary hospital where she then eventually took the head nurse role there in 2001. Kelsey remained at that practice until 2006 when she left to have her son, Henry. Kelsey joined us on a part time basis in 2008, became our Head Nurse in 2009 and is a valued member of staff. She is instrumental in training our student nurses, many of which are about to complete final exams. Kelsey recently completed the Diploma in Advance Veterinary Nursing, to further her skills and enable her to provide advanced care to our patients. This is a tough qualification to achieve and is one of only a small number of nurses in the UK to have done so. Kelsey also has the ISFM Diploma in Feline Nursing in order to enhance our feline care. Away from the practice Kelsey likes to spend time with her family, her slightly idiotic ragdoll cats Margo & Jerry and socialising with friends and a decent Sauvignon Blanc.
Sophie came to Vets4Pets Harlow in January 2017 after having her son Alfie. She had worked with us previously at the Chingford practice and we so admired her skills and dedication that we wanted her with us in Harlow. Sophie qualified in 2014 and has also achieved her SQP award.
Alex brought his extensive skills to us here in 2021 after spending 14 years as a night nurse in a specialist referral practice. He has been in veterinary practice since 2000 and whilst he loves all his patients he is especially pleased to be around the feline ones. Alex loves to spend time with his family outside of work and can often be found doing some DIY. He loves a dad joke and seeing the odd musical.
Angela has been working in the veterinary industry since 2001 and qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2012. She has interests in behaviour and surgery and loves to meet clients when helping their pets in a consultation. Seen here with her dog Pepper, Angela enjoys spending time with family when not at work.

Torri has been working in the veterinary industry since 2018, progressing from work experience to veterinary care assistant and eventually starting her student nursing course in 2021. She hopes to graduate in autumn 2024. Torri has a particular interest in feline nursing but is happy to work with pets of all shapes andsizes. In her spare time Torri enjoys reading, cooking and exploring nature.
Claire came to us in March 2023 from the traditional office environment. Claire had always wanted to work in the Veterinary sector and now she is here, she is loving every moment. She finds her role fast paced and very different from the roles she has been used to. Claire loves meeting the pets and their owners, working in a brilliant team (her words). Claire spends time with her 2 dogs, 2 cats and 2 teenagers when at home.
I have been working at Vets4Pets Harlow since May 2021. Previously I had been a receptionist at Vets4Pets Hertford. Prior to working in the veterinary field I worked in childcare and education. After deciding a change of career was necessary and due to my passion and interest of animals I decide to move into the veterinary field. I have 5 small dogs of my own (it’s only like 1 big dog really!!) so that keeps me busy when I am not at work! I look forward to meeting you and your pets and reception
