Hey, I’m Lorna! I qualified as a veterinary nurse in 1997 and have worked in veterinary practice since the age of 16. I have also worked in charities such as Battersea dogs home, Woodgreen animal shelters and in a 24 hour emergency hospital in London. I have worked within Vets4pets since March 2015 and opened Vets4pets East Kilbride with Jen in September 2018, I love being part of the amazing team we have here. I am extremely passionate about delivering the best possible care to patients and their owner and that is what has inspired me to become a practice owner. I am currently studying towards gaining the ISFM Diploma in Feline Nursing and Improve Transfusion Medicine certificate. I have completed the Vetsnow Emergency and Critical Care and Improve Anaesthesia certificates.
I have a menagerie of pets which include my Golden Retriever Mei, Fender the Chihuahua x pug (He was a rescue!) and cats Fred and Sylvie. I have two kids (Young Adults) who are too cool to be named and I have fostered 14 more over the years as a parent, I also qualified as a Youth Worker while fostering. In my spare time I work as a phlebotomist for the Pet Blood Bank and love being outdoors with my dogs. I’m looking forward to meeting you all with your pets and looking after them to the best of my abilities!

Hi I'm Jennifer but most People call me Jen. I qualified from Barony College in 2013 after spending a few years training in a wonderful practice in Condorrat. I have worked mainly in first opinion practices in Glasgow and for an emergency out of hours service in Falkirk as well as locum shifts at some of the larger hospitals in the central belt. I started my vets4pets journey in March 2015, moving to another Vets4pets surgery as a nurse and Practice Manager in late 2016 and now owning my own practice feels like the natural progression and a dream come true! For me the animals and clients come first before everything else so trying to give not only you but your pet the best possible experience I can when visiting the surgery is always my goal. Along side Lorna we are both dedicated to training the next generation of Vet nurses from various colleges and universities, so you may see the odd green stripey uniforms around and we are always happy to have a chat if you think Vet nursing may be for you. I'm a bit unusual as I love the type of pets most people dont or are afraid off- snakes, lizards, birds and the sort. I love them all the more rare and unusual the better- and I actually enjoy the paper work side of things too! When I am not at work I am usually at home spending time with my Partner and our 4 year old daughter. We have 3 lovely dogs and a snake ,Jazz a 1 year old Black and Tan Coonhound, Lily a 10 year old whippet, Lucy a 9 year old mongrel (shes a pug cross Chihuahua cross Cavalier King Charles spaniel) and Roose my Royal Python who is 3 years old. I can't wait to meet you all and your pets. !

Keira has volunteered at the practice since she was 16. She has been here ever since and has worked through her VCA training and began her veterinary nursing course last year, which she is loving every minute of.
At home she has a Border Collie called Logie who she does agility with, and an adopted hamster called Mickey. In her spare time she loves long dog walks and wild swimming.Louise McAulay
