Meet the team
Dr Aimi Glover
Practice Owner & Veterinary Surgeon
BVSc(hons) GPCert(SAS) CertAVP MRCVS
I qualified in Veterinary Medicine in 2004 from the University of Bristol. After a year in mixed practice I moved into solely small animal work including an internship at the University of Liverpool in 2001 and opened Vets4Pets Barnstaple in November 2018. I love all aspects of my job but have a particular interest and specialisation in soft tissue surgery having gained both a General practitioners certificate (GPCert(SAS)) in 2009 and an RCVS certificate (CertAVP) in 2015. Despite these post-graduate qualifications I still have a strong interest in medicine and love the variety of clinical cases and animals that we see. My favourite part of our job is getting to meet clients and their pets and form an ongoing relationship with them over time seeing their pets grow and helping to keep them well. I also am kept busy with my 9 year old son and 6 year old daughter. We share our home with our 2 year old whippet, two cats and a horse so life is busy!
Naomi qualified from the University of Bristol in 2005, shortly afterwards completing a one year Junior Clinical Training Scholarship with the University of Liverpool working within both the referral hospital and first-opinion practice. After a move back to the South West Naomi then joined the newly opened Nottingham Vet School teaching clinical skills working alongside the PDSA clinical team.
Naomi who is originally from the Barnstaple area joined the team earlier this year. Naomi's particular interest is in diagnostic imaging as well as anaesthesia, pharmacy, oncology and palliative care. Naomi takes a patient-centred, collaborative approach working with our client's to deliver the best possible care to their pets.
Outside of work Naomi enjoys being outside, making the most of our coastal surroundings.
Hi, I'm Olivia, I graduated from the RVC in London in 2024, fulfilling a lifelong dream to be a vet! Whilst I was studying I've began to form an interest in feline medicine, exotics and ultrasound.
At home I'm kept busy by my very spoiled mischief of pet rats! I'm looking forward to meeting you and your pets soon!
Hello, my name is Philippa and I am a Student Veterinary Nurse at Barnstaple Vets4Pets. I have always loved working with people and have an extensive background in customer service and supporting vulnerable people. However, I have always dreamed of working with animals and I am so happy to have the opportunity to do so in such a friendly and professional practice. Although I don’t have my own pets currently, I take every opportunity to cuddle and play with my family’s pets including two cheeky Chihuahua’s and a Saarloos Wolfdog puppy.
I have a degree in Bioveterinary science from the Royal Veterinary College and qualified as an RVN last year. As my main interests are anaesthesia and theatre nursing- I have been working on neutering projects in South East Asia & hoping to return in November
I absolutely adore collies and have a busy household of 2 dogs and 2 cats. I very much look forward to meeting you all and being involved with your pet's care.
My name is Tracy, I am our Client Care Advisor. I have recently moved to North Devon from Kent with my husband and two children. I have been visiting my parents in Braunton for the last 25 years and have always planned on moving here when the children had left Secondary School.
I have always had a dog and have been involved with horses and animals, one way or another. My current pooch is called Milo and he is a Shih tzu x Poodle. Prior to Milo we had Percy who was a Basset Hound.
Hello, my name is Ryan and I’m the Practice Manager here at vets4pets Barnstaple. Most of you will know me already, But for those of you that don't here's a bit about me. I’ve been working in the security industry for the past few years, where I have worked for High end retailers, prestigious events and private clients. I’ve always wanted a career working with animals and after moving from Berkshire to North Devon this became possible. I’m really enjoying working with such an amazing team and I look forward to meeting all new and existing clients
Hi, I am Georgia a Client Care Advisor here at Vets4Pets Barnstaple. I have a big passion for all animals. I have my own cat, a maine coon cross called Lenard who is a big character! In my free time I enjoy being around horses and used to ride racehorses. I look forward to meeting you and your pets!
I have always worked in hospitality and customer service but also always had a love of animals. I can never resist a cuddle when one comes to visit so I am so very excited and happy to find a position where I can be of help to clients but also see all the lovely pets you bring in!
At home I have my own spaniel Jasper and a three legged dalmation called Bobby that keep me on my toes outside of work. I look forward to meeting you all!
