Kirstin Gribben
Head Veterinary Surgeon & Practice Owner
CertAVP, BVM&S, MRCVS
I am a veterinary surgeon originally from Portugal. After my graduation I decided to work abroad. I travelled to Brazil and Belgium to gain work experience and then moved to the UK in 2013. I love taking care of and helping pets. In my spare time I like to cook, read and travel.
Hello, My name is Ania and I come from Poland. I have been a vet since 2002 and I graduated in Wroclaw University in Poland.
I came to England in 2017 and really enjoy living and working here. I love my work and I am particularly interested in dermatology and cat medicine.
I have a guinea pig at home but my dream is to have three cats.
In my spare time I like to read and go walking with my husband. I would really like to travel around the whole of Great Briton at some point in the future.
Hi,
My name is Aisha and I graduated in Egypt. I qualified as a UK vet last year in 2021, but have been practicing as a small animal vet in Egypt since graduating in 2009.
I love working around animals, but also the clients who share the same passion for our furry friends.
In my spare time I love going for walks and catching up with friends and family.
I’m Angela and I registered as a Veterinary Nurse in February 2018. I have an interest in cats and focus my further training round this. I have a rescue cat called Freyja. My other interests are my motorbike and long distance walking. Before Veterinary Nursing I had worked in the equine industry for 15 years; my last horse job was for a charity retraining and re-homing ex-racehorses.
I am currently studying towards a certificate in Advanced Feline behaviour for veterinary Professionals. I am also the the chosen cat advocate for the practice and am working with the ISFM in order to gain our cat friendly clinic accreditation.
My name is Megan, I started volunteering at Vets4Pets since leaving school in 2013, completed an animal management course and then eventually qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2018. Our team works very well together and became like a second family. I enjoy spending every day working with animals in my dream job, every day is different. I have an interest in exotic patients and also our golden oldies that sadly need a bit more TLC than the youngsters. When I'm not at work, I can usually be found looking after my ever growing zoo at home with 3 fish, 1 cat, 2 crazy spaniels and my rescue bunny. I love nothing more than being outdoors and active on walks or runs with the dogs.
My name is Tammie, I am the Head Nurse and one of the practice owners. I have always had an interest in animals from a young age. After leaving school at 16, I started working in a veterinary practice, qualifying in 1995. Since then I have worked in many types of practices including equine and emergency and critical care. I love all aspects of nursing. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, including my 2 dogs and 1 mad cat. I look forward to meeting you and your pets soon.
Hi,
I'm Katie and I've been a registered veterinary nurse since 2020. Previously, I volunteered at the practice whilst in my final year of school, progressing onto my VCA course, then completing my nursing qualification. My next step in training will be undertaking a qualification in Physiotherapy so I can aid in the recovery of your pets. Some may know me as the rabbit nurse!
In my spare time I love going out on long hikes and spending quality time with my family, along side my three incredible pooches, two of which are rescues. I also have a lovely variety of different breeds of rabbits including several rescues.
Hi,
My name is Sarah and I work as a student veterinary nurse. My job in practice is to make sure all of our patients have everything they need for a comfortable stress free stay, I like to make sure they are happy and calm.
Working in an animal related profession is what I've always wanted to do. After working in pet retail for 17 years, I have realised my heart lies in helping animals that have problems or illnesses, so moving to a Veterinary Practice was perfect for me.
At home, I have a cat called Gypsy who is my little baby. I also have a corn snake, leopard gecko, gerbil, a tropical fish tank and several tanks of stick insects.
Hi,
My name is Anna. I started volunteering with the practice in 2022 along side studying for my Veterinary Care Assistant qualification at college.
Once I had passed my course, I was offered a full time permanent position working with the team.
I have always loved being around animals and love spending time with the patients in our care.
I have a Boxer dog called Bobby at home. In my spare time, I enjoy meeting up with friends and horse riding.
Hi,
My name is Lauren. I qualified as an RVN in September 24.
I started working at South Shields Vets4Pets in July, I really enjoy inpatient care as well as consulting and getting to meet all of our lovely clients and their pets.
In my free time I play football and have done since I was 8 years old.
I also have 2 German Shepherds so spend a lot of time out walking them.

I'm Bev, I work on reception as a Client Care Advisor and have done since 2017. I love my job for many reasons but mainly meeting all the beautiful animals that come through the door, and getting cuddles from them and the great team spirit and support we give to each other. When I'm not at work I love spending time with my dog Betty who loves long walks along the beach.
I love spending time outdoors, hiking, climbing hills and open water swimming. I love nothing more than time away in our campervan with family and dog Archie.
At home, I like to dip at the beach with friends. I have also long had an interest in promoting good mental health and wellbeing, I am a Reiki practitioner.
