Meet the team
Laura is the Practice owner and the Senior Veterinary Surgeon at Vets4Pets Wadsley Bridge, She has been with the company for over ten years and she is still as passionate about animal care as she was when she started. Her huge amount of knowledge and experience able her to deliver the highest standard of Animal Care and Treatment and she will always go out of her way to support both animals and her clients.
Laura has two young daughters who keep her very busy outside of work, but she wouldn't have it any other way. Her favourite animals are 'Big cats eg Tigers' because they are beautiful inside and out. She also has two Pets; A chocolate Labrador called Rowan and the gorgeous Cream and fluffy; Mallow who are both perfect for a cuddle.

Nicolo, originally from Italy, relocated to South Yorkshire in 2021 and joined the team here earlier this year after transferring from another practice in Sheffield. He has a vast amount of experience in both medical and surgical cases and is extremely passionate about expanding his knowledge.
In Nicolo's spare time, he enjoys travelling back home to Italy to be with family & friends and when he's not in the sun, he enjoys spending time in the gym.
I started working here in 2012 when the practice opened. I was originally a Veterinary Care Assistant but then I was given the opportunity to train to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse. Since then I have become the Senior Nurse and completed a Certificate in Anaesthesia allowing me to broaden my knowledge of anaesthetics. I love working with the team here at Wadsley as everyone is caring, compassionate and have an amazing drive for patient care and wellbeing.
Claire qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2021, she is caring and compassionate with both clients and patients which shows on a daily basis. She is a vital part of the team here at Wadsley Bridge and all of her colleagues value her passion and work ethics.
Claire is an animal lover and at home several pets including; Dylan the tortoise, Bailey the Staffy, Calcifer the Budgie and finally Cruella the mouse.
Bex is a integral part of our nursing team after qualifying as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2019. She loves consulting and performing nurse clinics, so will often be found snuggling our young patients and caring for our older patients. Bex has fantastic knowledge of all aspects of nursing and is she a strong mentor and she will be supporting our future nurses in gaining there qualifications.
She owns two beautiful German Shepherds called Zak and Ranni the puppy.
Amy has recently qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in July 2022 after several years studying at university and building up her veterinary knowledge and skills. She is very passionate about all animals in her care and loves building relationships with our clients. Amy is very interested in surgical cases and loves to be involved in non-routine cases and expanding her knowledge.
Outside of work, Amy has recently started to build her knowledge of cooking and enjoys trying new recipes.
I began working in the practice in 2016 when I left school. I began part time helping the nursing team and then in 2018 I began working full time as a veterinary care assistant. I am hoping to fulfil my dream of becoming a registered veterinary nurse soon. I really enjoy helping the nurse team take xrays of patients and looking at the images on the processor. I am undertaking my Veterinary Nurse qualification in January 2023 and looking forward to gaining my full qualification.
I have a Cavapoo named Sunny who I love to take for walks in the countryside.
Abbie joined the team as a client care advisor and gained a significant amount of experience as part of the front of house team and building relationships with our clients. Currently, she is looking forward to enrolling onto her Veterinary Nurse course in January 2023 and gain her qualification as a registered Nurse. Abbie is always on hand to help clients and their pets when they come into the practice as it is her passion.
She loves all kinds of animals, but is passionate about wildlife and she will care for all the strays brought into the practice to rehabilitate and release them.
Jessica has been a Practice Manager with Vets4Pets since 2016, She recently relocated practices in November 2022 and joined the team at Vets4Pets Wadsley Bridge. She is passionate about driving the practice forward in the future, supporting and developing her colleagues and ensuring that every client at the practice receives the highest level of care and customer service possible.
Jessica has two young daughters who keep her on her toes and she loves spending time out of work being a 'dance mum' for the girls and crafting and exploring outdoors with them. She also has a deaf bulldog called Esther who is very loveable, even with her whippy tail.
Hi, my name is Jessica and I'm the Head Receptionist / Client Care Manager here at Vets4Pets Wadsley Bridge, I have worked across 3 Vets4Pets practices in total since starting with the company back in 2016. I transferred here back in April 2023 following maternity leave and couldn’t imagine being anywhere else now!
As Head Receptionist my role is very varied from organising the diary, putting client’s insurance claims through and admin tasks, as well as spending my days busy on the reception desk. I find working at Vets4Pets Wadsley Bridge very rewarding.
At home I am kept busy looking after my young daughter and 3 dogs. I have 2 lazy pugs called Frank and Percy and a Senior loveable Staffie called Hendrix.
Dee plays a crucial part of our client care team, front of house. She has an extensive amount of experience in customer service and she will always go above and beyond to support of clients and their animals.
She owns a lovely red Labrador called Cooper, and She will often be found walking him early in the mornings before work. Dee is passionate about Labradors and has worked previously with the Labrador rescue by walking the dogs in the centre and has rehomed several dogs from them, who have all lived happy, long lives.
Frankie is one of our client care advisors as part of the front of house team. She is passionate about all animals that are in our care and will always strive to give our clients the best possible client experience at the practice.
Outside of work she looks after her horse Chilli, She enjoys show jumping with him and spends most of her spare time at the yard making sure Chilli is happy, comfortable and healthy.
Beth joined the team in May 2023 after an extensive career working as Groomer and then developing to become Salon Manager within Pets at Home - Groom Room. Delivering the highest level of customer service is key for Beth and she will ensure our clients experience the client journey they deserve.
Out side of work, Beth has an additional beauty hobby and carries out numerous treatments for her clients.
