Meet the team
I studied veterinary medicine at Edinburgh University and qualified in 2002. My first job as a qualified Veterinary Surgeon was in South Yorkshire in a small animal practice where I met my wife, Wendy. We moved to my home country of Norway in 2004, where I spent three years practising at a large, small animal hospital. We returned to England, and after working in Sherwood for a couple of years, my wife and I had the opportunity to set up our own Vets for Pets clinic here in Beeston in 2009. I like to spend my spare time with my family which includes our three cats, Nelly (pictured), Violet and Rupert.

I have now progressed and currently training to be a Veterinary Nurse. My journey is fuelled by my love for animals and commitment to their well-being. I have worked in the veterinary industry since 2001. I started work in a small animal practice in South Yorkshire, where I met my husband, Vegard. We moved to Norway in 2004, where I worked the out of hours in a large, small animal hospital. After we returned to England, we eventually opened our own Vets for Pets clinic in 2009. It’s been a real pleasure to have opened our business here in Beeston, and we feel very privileged to have had this opportunity for the past 15 years. I enjoy spending my spare time with my family and that includes our very cute cats, Nelly, Violet and Rupert.
