Meet the team
Rebecca McGaugie
Veterinary Surgeon
BSc (Hons) BVMS MRCVS
After graduating from Glasgow University in 2018, I started working at Vets4Pets Bishopbriggs and have been here ever since, having loved working with such a great team!
Animals have always been such a big part of my life while I was growing up and working as a vet was what I wanted to do for as long as I can remember. At home, we have our own two collies, Finn and Freya, who definitely keep me busy outside of work!
In my free time, I also enjoy being in the outdoors, especially a bit of hillwalking, as well as reading, cooking, playing piano (although I must admit I'm a little rusty these days!) and spending time with friends and family.
I graduated from the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Košice, Slovakia in 2021 with honours. Since graduation I have worked at Vets4Pets Bishopbriggs and have enjoyed meeting all its lovely clients. In my spare time I enjoy travelling to new places and spending time with my two rescue dogs who enjoy long walks and cuddling up on the couch.
Rosie Turner
Veterinary Surgeon
BVMS MRCVS
I qualified as an RVN in 2014. I have always had a love for working with animals. I previously studied equine management when I first left school where I then spent some time working on a dressage yard in New York before I decided to study to become a veterinary nurse. I studied at the College of Animal Welfare in Edinburgh where I was a student nurse at Vets4Pets Bishopbriggs. Once I qualified I worked between the Bishopbriggs and the Stirling practice before coming to Bishopbriggs full time.
I qualified as an RVN in October 2012 from Edinburgh Telford College. I have been working in practice for approximately 14 years and it has taken me to the Caribbean and back.
I enjoy traveling around Scotland, when weather permits! and spending time with friends, family and the dogs. In my downtime I enjoy being creative through different art mediums, movies, gaming, gym and relaxing with a good book.
Shantelle O'Donnell
Animal care Assistant
I am the practice manager here at Vets4Pets Bishopbriggs. I have been working in this practice for more than 10 years. I love every aspect of my job and all the great members of staff over the years that I have come to know to call them my friends. I have two kids and two fur babies (Cockapoo’s) Enzo and Nico who love being out and about.
I began working as a veterinary receptionist in 2007. In 2014 I joined the team at Vets4Pets Bishopbriggs and enjoy working alongside my colleagues. In my spare time I enjoy reading and meeting up with friends and family.
I previously worked within the pets at home store for 6 years, as soon as a vacancy became available within the vets4pets practice I jumped at the chance to move across to work on their reception. I have been here 6 weeks now and enjoying the experience.
I don not have any pets of my own but I regularly cat sit my daughters two cats.

Vets4Pets Bishopbriggs is committed to bringing you affordable, high quality care via a modern, well equipped practice, including a lab, pharmacy, digital x-ray and ultrasound. Plus, on site car parking too!
The friendly team can't wait to meet all of their new clients!
We are committed to using less energy and resources, and generating less waste and packaging while offering a more sustainable way to care for our pets.
We always consider greener options for all of our working systems and implement where possible. Our practice has worked hard to reduce the amount of gases we use during general anaesthetic procedures, as this is most damaging to the environment. We have recycling schemes in place and monitor the amount and type of waste we produce. We are also working towards an accreditation with Investors in the Environment.
