Advanced services
We have invested considerably in our team and kit to make a number of advanced services available to our clients. We also accept referrals from other practices.
Orthopaedics
Our veterinary team have undertaken advanced training to allow us to perform orthopaedic surgery in our practice. If your pet develops an abnormality involving their skeleton or joints, such as elbow dysplasia, a patella (kneecap) that gets stuck, or a torn cruciate ligament, an orthopaedic procedure may help them.
Referral Service
Please contact us about advanced orthopaedic surgery and acupuncture.

Dr Jodie Moses-Williams
Veterinary Surgeon
BSc (Hons), BVM&S, CertAVP, MRCVS
I initially completed a degree in Zoology at Swansea University before undertaking a degree in veterinary medicine at The University of Edinburgh. I moved back to Wales and joined Vets4Pets in 2016.
I enjoy all aspects of clinical practice but am especially interested in medicine cases, especially feline.
My spare time is ruled by four cats – Angus, Enid, Bella and Bernard. When they allow I enjoy reading, gaming and running.
I graduated with honours in 2018, from the University of Mayor, Santiago de Chile. There, I also co-founded the faculty’s first scientific academy for veterinary students, with the objective to open up the research field for future colleagues. After working on veterinary public health and on my rural private practice, I moved to Wales to continue to grow as a professional. Now I am a proud member of the RCVS, and happy to be part of the brilliant team at Vets4Pets.
I have great passion for my work and care for my patients, always giving my best for them to live a happy and healthy life. In my spare time I like to go on road trips, in the company of my rescued dog Gasper, go to concerts and cook.
After graduating from Liverpool University in 2020, I undertook a year-long rotating internship at a pet hospital in Manchester, subsequently moving to Cardiff to work in the charity veterinary sector, then I started at Vets4Pets in May 2023. Besides getting to meet all our lovely patients and clients, my favourite parts of the job are doing surgery and imaging (x-rays and ultrasound scans).
Outside of work, I enjoy playing rugby for a local women’s team, as well as being on the water windsurfing and dragon boating, weather permitting!
I live in Cardiff with my boyfriend and the recent addition of our rescue cat Xerxes, aptly named after the Persian emperor as he indeed rules the roost!
As a young girl I always wanted to be a veterinary nurse and started working as a student nurse in 2010 and have worked very hard to become a qualified registered veterinary nurse.
I am very proud to have worked my way up to becoming a Head veterinary nurse and clinical coach and enjoy teaching our amazing students.
I love every aspect of my job and wouldn’t change it for the world.
I have a little one eyed rescue pug called Rosie who keeps me on my toes!
In my spare time I enjoy taking her for walks and spending time with my husband and step daughter.
I’ve worked in the veterinary industry since 2010 around Cardiff and the Vale. I have a keen interest in feline nursing will even volunteer for the feistiest patients in practice. I received a distinction in the ISFM feline nursing diploma in 2021.
I have had all sorts of pets from tarantulas to gerbils. I currently have 3 cats at home that keep me entertained.
I enjoy travelling, DIY and Disney alongside all things Halloween and Christmas.
I joined Vets4Pets in May 2018 as a part time Veterinary Nurse. I had worked as a Veterinary Nurse for many years in the Cardiff area but stopped to run my riding school. I missed the Veterinary work so came back into the industry in 2017.
I have 2 children, a German Shepherd cross called Aslan and a cat called Roger who along with the horses keep me very busy in my spare time!
I joined Vets4Pets in May 2017. I had previously had an 8 year career as a hairdresser but my love of animals made me decide on a career change.
I started as a receptionist and then became a Veterinary Nursing Assistant with the aim of becoming a qualified Veterinary Nurse one day.
In my spare time I am usually found walking my two crazy dogs Bella the Beagle and Brody the Whippet or looking after my three cats.
As of July 2021, I am now a Student Veterinary Nurse.
I started working for Vets4Pets in October 2018 as a receptionist and I am now working as a Registered Veterinary Nurse.
I have always had a love for animals.
I live with two rescue dogs, Millie, a beautiful black and white collie cross and Skye Blue who is a blue merle collie and an assortment of fishies.
In my spare time I love horse-riding, taking long walks with the dogs and spending long weekends in west wales with the dogs and family.
I joined the Vets4Pets team in October 2023 as a final year student veterinary nurse and am working towards completing my training, I have always had a love of animals and enjoy my varied day to day in veterinary practice, no two days are ever the same

Cerys has now progressed to become an Animal Care Assistant and has been caring for all the little furries since September 2022. She has rescued and hand-reared 'Biggie' of the streets.
I started working here in June 2022 on reception. I have always been interested in animals and animal studies, so when the opportunity came up to study in college to do an animal care assistant course, I took it and completed this in July 2024 and started on the course to become a qualified veterinary nurse in September 2024.
I started working for Vets4Pets in May 2018.
Having worked in the veterinary and animal welfare area for over 8 years, I have a wealth of experience in relation to animal care as well as customer care.
My passion for animal welfare includes fostering over 200 kittens, a handful of inexperienced fledglings and the occasional puppy.
I joined the Vets4Pets Newport Road Team in February 2022. I've loved working with the team and love chatting to our lovely clients!
I started working as a receptionist with Vets4Pets in May 2023. I grew up with guinea pigs and spaniels and have owned (and become very invested in) rabbits since 2018.
I’m very passionate about animal welfare and have been from a young age. I would love to train as a veterinary nurse and eventually specialise in exotics. I'd really love to be able to run a rescue & boarding centre for rabbits and small animals in the future.
In my spare time, I enjoy rural walks, foraging and growing veg for my bunnies at our allotment!
