Meet the team
I wanted to be a vet since I was 15 years old. I qualified from Lithuanian Veterinary Academy in 2006. I moved to England in 2007 and work as a veterinary surgeon ever since. I joined the team at the Broadstairs surgery in 2012.I have recently become a partner here at Vets4Pets Canterbury with veterinary surgeon Michal and head nurse Tinkea.
I have a keen interest in expanding my knowledge in all aspects of small animal general practice but have a particular interest in dermatology. I am also a DEFRA appointed Local Veterinary Inspector (LVI) which enables me to issue small animal passports and help our clients with non-commercial pet animal export.
When I am not at work I spend most of my time with my wife and three children. I enjoy DIY (from small project at home to building a large shed or laying a patio), gardening, remote control cars, and fishing. I have a Chihuahua cross breed dog named Leo, a chinchilla named Dusty and a large tropical fresh water tank with fish and shrimp
I trained at the Royal Veterinary College , graduating in 2, and have worked in specialist cardiology and ophthalmology veterinary hospitals before joining Companion Care. I have a very keen interest in surgical anaesthesia and also pet nutrition.
in 2009 I became a Joint Venture Partner at Companion Care Broadstairs. I have recently also become a Partner here at Vets4Pets Canterbury with veterinary surgeons Michal and Deividas.
In any spare time I have left I run a local netball team and play for several netball teams in Kent. I have also completed various running and walking challenges for charity, the most recent was the South Coast Challenge which was 1km in 2004hours in aid of the Support Dogs Charity.
