The friendly team can't wait to meet all of their new clients!
We are the first Vets4Pets to receive an accreditation from the Investors in the Environment. The iiE have 3 levels of award, Bronze, Silver and Green, they are an independent body that gives awards to companies that are reducing their carbon footprints. We have just received a Silver award. Our practice has worked hard to reduce the amount of gases we use during general anaesthetic procedures, as this is most damaging to the environment. We have recycling schemes in place and monitor the amount and type of waste we produce.
We always consider greener options for all of our working systems and implement where possible. We have reduced our travel to work by changing shifts to allow for car sharing, we encourage colleagues to cycle to work and have those that use electric cars too. We have joined with the Pets at Home group and are members of Our Better World Pledge Committee. This committee is working on ways to help other practices in the group achieve environmentally friendly goals. We will continue to review our processes and support our colleagues to find ways to help save the planet.
