Soft tissue surgery is a varied discipline and includes surgical procedures that do not fall under the remit of orthopaedic surgery.

We can offer the following soft tissue surgeries:

• Neutering of dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs & ferrets
• Eye surgeries, including eyelid mass removals, entropians, grid keratotomy, conjunctival flap, and enucleation
• BOAS airway surgery
• Ear surgeries, including Teca-bo, lateral wall resection, & mass removals
• Gastrointestinal surgeries including exploratory-laparotomy, foreign body removal, gastropexy, colopexy, splenectomy, and pancrectomy
• Uro-genital tract surgeries including cystotomy, perineal urethrostomy, scrotal urethrostomy, ectopic ureters, urethral prolapse repair, and episioplasty/vaginal prolapse repair
• Hernia repairs, including umbilical hernias, inguinal hernias, perineal hernias, and diaphragmatic hernias

Ultrasound scanning allows examination of and identifies changes in your pets' internal organs. It is commonly used to assess organs in the abdomen such at the bladder, kidneys and liver. It can also be used to assess the heart.

We have an imaging specialist called Teresa, who is able to accept referrals for abdominal and cardiac ultrasound scans. Teresa has a General Practitioner Certificate in Diagnostic Imaging.
