Read Kirsty Raistrick bio

Kirsty is the practice owner and Vet at Bracknell Vets4Pets. She genuinely loves all animals (as cliché as that may sound) and enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and surgery.

Kirsty completed her Veterinary training, graduating from The Royal Veterinary College in 2011 with first class honours. Since qualifying Kirsty has spent 10 years in small animal practice working at various small animal surgeries. She has spent the last 5 years working in a small animal hospital before setting up the Bracknell practice.

Kirsty has always had a long-term dream to set up her own practice, allowing her to practice medicine in the way she has always wanted to, setting high clinical standards and surrounding herself with the best team possible.

Kirsty has an interest in orthopaedic surgery, osteoarthritis and chronic pain cases. She has completed the ABVA acupuncture course and has great success implementing acupuncture as an adjunct treatment for numerous conditions, including osteoarthritis, epilepsy, neurological dysfunction and movement disorders. She has a passion for helping to improve pain management and enhancing quality of life in all animals.

She has completed a certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice, specialising in small animal soft tissue surgery and enjoys performing more complex surgical cases including BOAS surgeries, complicated tumour removals and orthopaedics.

Kirsty has also undertaken further training in dentistry and is pleased to offer routine dental procedures at Bracknell.

As an ‘official veterinarian’ (OV) Kirsty is qualified to issue Animal Health Certificates (AHC) allowing your pet to travel, now that passports issued in Great Britain are no longer valid for travel to an EU country or Northern Ireland. She can also assist with exporting animals if you are looking to move abroad.

Outside of work she enjoys surfing and snorkelling and has a Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppy called Poppy, who you may well see supervising around the practice! Her husband, James, is an experienced human and veterinary physiotherapist. We are happy to have him on board, allowing us to offer physiotherapy and complimentary therapies at Bracknell Vets4Pets.

Kirsty prides herself on giving your pets the best possible gold standard care and treating them as if they were her own.

Our ethos at Bracknell Vets4Pets is to treat your pets like an extension of our family, we want to get to know both you and your pets so that a relationship of trust and respect can flourish. We promise to do our best to provide exceptional service and the best possible personal care.

Elizabeth Storm

Client Care Advisor

Read Elizabeth Storm bio

Elizabeth has always loved animals, but was unable to have pets as a child. In response, the first thing she did after moving out was to adopt two house rabbits! Since then, she has owned a number of small pets including guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, rabbits and dogs.

After graduating university she spent a year in Madrid, Spain, followed by 12 years in Oakland, California, returning to the UK in 2019. Her time in the USA was where she forged her career in the animal care business, and she has worked in customer care at pet shops and veterinary hospitals since 2008. She has volunteered for a number of animal charities both at home and abroad including Binfield Dog Rescue, House Rabbit Society, and Oakland Animal Services.

Aside from animals, her hobbies include archery, running, rollerblading and table-top gaming.

Pop in or give us a call - Elizabeth is always happy to help!
