Meet the team
Dr. Aimee King
Joint Venture Partner and Veterinary Surgeon
BVetMed (Hons) MRCVS
I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College, London in 2012. I grew up in the London/Essex area but I moved to Hampshire after graduating. Since then I have worked in small animal practices in Winchester, Alton and now in Andover.
I enjoy all aspects of being a vet but my favourite area of work is soft tissue surgery. I also really enjoy building relationships with all pets that come through the door and trying to make them feel at ease.
I have a Flat Coated Retriever called Dexter who you may see around the surgery. I also have 4 cats - Blossom, Oliver, Smudge and Merlin and a rabbit Nutmeg. As you can imagine they keep my life pretty busy!
Dr. Finn Seydewitz
Joint Venture Partner and Veterinary Surgeon
Mag.med.vet MRCVS
I graduated from The University of Veterinary Medicine in Vienna, Austria, in 1998. After a short time in practice I came to England to work first at the PDSA in London before moving into mixed practice in Norfolk. In 2001 I joined a practice in Salisbury where I was in charge of the surgical department. In 2007 I joined Companion Care and opened the Winchester vet surgery.
Whilst enjoying all aspects of surgery I particularly like orthopaedics and reconstructive surgery. Following 6 successful years in Winchester, I decided to open a second practice in Andover with 2 colleagues. At home I like to spend time with my wife and 2 children. We have a Labrador called Josie, and a cat called Lillie.
I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College, London in 2011. I grew up in Hampshire and returned to the area after qualifying. I have worked mainly in companion animal practice, for both private clients and Dogs Trust. I enjoy all aspects of medicine and surgery, and have particular interests in emergency medicine, animal behaviour and long term management of chronic cases.
I have a menagerie of animals at home; Mo, D and Sky the horses (Mo competes in eventing and D in dressage), Rupert and Ralph the Border Terriers, and Rose the rescue British Shorthair. Looking after this furry family keeps myself and my husband Murray fairly busy, but we do enjoy escaping down to beautiful Dartmoor when we get a chance.
Kayleigh Bale
Head Veterinary Nurse & Clinical Coach
BSc (Hons) RVN R-SQP C&GCertVNES
I qualified from Harper Adams University in 2014 having completed a four year degree in Veterinary Nursing and Practice management. I have a strong interest in medical nursing and exotic nursing.
Having recently completed my certificate in nursing of exotic species I am looking forward to starting up exotic clinics. I am also a clinical coach so I take a lead role in training student veterinary nurses through their qualification.
I have a large menagerie of animals, including three dogs, a bearded dragon, two turtles, two marine fish tanks and seven rabbits.
I have been in practice since 1996 and I qualified in January 2000. I have a particular interest in anaesthetics and analgesia. I hope to gain further qualifications in this area.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family including our rescue Shetland pony called Shady.
Having qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in December 2005, I worked in various large and small animal practices around Somerset, Dorset & Wiltshire before joining the Companion Care team in July 2018.
I love that I have fulfilled my childhood dream of becoming a veterinary nurse, and I enjoy all aspects of my job with particular interests in inpatient care and nurse clinics - especially weight clinics!
In my spare time I enjoy going for long country walks with my dog and spending time in our garden with my rescue ex-battery chickens!
I have been in practice since 2005 and qualified from Lynwood Veterinary College in 2011. Since I became and RVN I have enjoyed helping other students through their training.
I enjoy all aspects of nursing but I have a keen interest in physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
In my free time I like going on 10km runs with a local group. I also enjoy meeting with friends to go for long dog walks over Salisbury Plain, one of my favourite places to be.

In 2020 I completed my Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management at Sparsholt College. This experience increased my passion for wanting to work with animals even more. My first animal based job was working as a Crèche Assistant at a dog daycare, where I also gained my Dog First Aid. I have been a part of the Companion Care team since February 2022 and have loved getting to know everyone, including our clients and their pets.
My family and I have a rescue cat called Sherbet and a fish called Stan. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I also like reading, listening to podcasts and playing games with my family.
After finishing my diploma in extended animal management, I then began a FdSc Veterinary Nursing undergraduate course in Sparsholt college. I am currently in my second year, and I have been training with Andover Companion Care since January 2022, and I am enjoying my time here very much.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends travelling and visiting new places. I also love spending time with my sister's cat who I like to introduce as my nephew!
I am a student at Sparsholt, studying an apprenticeship in Veterinary Nursing. My interests are dog behaviour and training.
In my spare time, I enjoy watching and playing rugby. I also enjoy looking after my family’s and friends’ pets.
I use to have two dogs a Weimaraner and Springer Spaniel.
In the future, I would like a Vizsla.
My name is Dexter.
I joined the team in 2019.
I spend most of my days in the back office making sure I get all the fuss I need.
I love all my colleagues lunch food and I am the first to clean up any dropped crumbs.
I am also a lifesaver as I have donated blood to patients in need.
I joined Companion Care in February 2021.
I have a strong background in management in customer facing roles.
As the Practice Manager I anticipate to meet all your needs and look forward to meeting many wonderful patients and clients.
In my free time I enjoy long walks with my dog Finley rescued from Newbury Dogs Trust in 2019. I have a real passion for cooking, travelling and foreign languages.
I have always had a passion for animals, having grown up surrounded by a wide variety of species and so a career with animals was a natural step. After completing a diploma in Animal Care, I started my working life in the veterinary world.
I have worked in veterinary practices for many years now and love the variety of animals, and owners that come through the door.
My passion outside of work has always been horses and I have a much loved New Forest pony that I have owned for 24 years! I live with my Husband, our adorable Boxer dog Ellie and four mischievous rabbits.
I studied the National Diploma in Animal Management at Sparsholt College as it was my ambition from a young age to have a career with animals.
I have over 10 years experience In a customer service role and also hold a Retail Management qualification. At home we have two palomino New Forest ponies and two dogs, a Labrador X called Trio and my own tiny Yorkshire Terrier called Sky.
Having grown up living with animals I have always had a passion to work with them and in 2009 I gained a Level 2 Diploma in Pet Care and Pet First Aid. Although my career working with animals has only just started, I have years of Customer Service experience working as a Receptionist and Secretary, and I really enjoy working with the general public. I am now excited to be developing my career as a Veterinary Receptionist.
I am the owner of two lovely cats and in my spare time I enjoy walking our family Dog Dancer and keeping fit and active by attending gym classes.
I graduated from university in July 2021 and have since then worked as a care assistant in my home town of Bournemouth. I moved to Andover in March 2022 with my partner who is in the military.
I’ve always had a passion for animals, growing up with lots of pets. I now have a dog of my own, her name is Ivy and she’s a 4 month old Great Dane puppy. I love meeting new people and am excited to be part of the team.
