I have been a practice partner at Shrewsbury Vets4Pets since 2007. I love working at the surgery and getting to know all our patients, assisted by our friendly and caring team of colleagues. I enjoy the variety of being a vet but I have a special interest in orthopaedics and cardiology. Outside of work I am kept busy running our small farm with my wife and 3 boys. We currently have 4 cats, 2 dogs, lots of sheep, cows, pigs and chickens.

My favorite animal is hard to choose but probably cats. I seem to be building up a collection of different colors... So far I have a tabby, a big black cat, a small black cat, a ginger boy, and a very pretty ginger and white girl. You can never have too many cats, and I don't have a black & white one yet...

As well as my cats, I also have 2 collies - Timmy and Kiera. Plus we keep sheep, cows, pigs, chickens and turkeys on our small holding.

I love working for vets4Pets because it means I get to know some of the pets, and their owners, who we see regularly. It's always nice to see the dogs who have been coming here since puppies, pulling their owners across the car park as they're so keen to come and visit us! (perhaps the jar of biscuits at reception has something to do with that!)

I qualified from RVC London in 1990. I have worked in small animal practices in the South of England until moving to Wales 12 years ago. More recently I have joined Vets4Pets and I am delighted to be part of such as great dedicated and supportive team – everyone equally passionate about providing the best possible care for pets.

Like most vets I have had a good variety of fury and feathered members of the family but my favourite is my ex-feral cat Sooty who has grown to love his cuddles. Outside of work I enjoy gardening, playing violin and being an administrator for Montgomery Youth Music Charity.

When I was 13 I had a real bond with my friend's Jack Russel, Ivy, and it was a combination of her and my love of all creatures big and small at the riding stables where I spent my weekends and holidays, that made me want to be a vet.

I graduated from Edinburgh in 2006, and then worked in mixed practice in Cornwall for nearly 8 years, before moving back to my home town Shrewsbury. Before returning I completed a Certificate in Small Animal Medicine, but equally love doing surgery! I enjoy the variety and challenge of general practice, and love working with a great team at vets 4 pets who are all determined to do their best for our clients and our patients.

I've had to retire my kitesurfing kit and gig rowing gloves since moving back to Shrewsbury. A lot of my time is now taken up looking after my two young sons, but when time allows I also love to walk, climb, swim, cycle, do yoga and take photographs.

At home I have an 11 year-old whippet, Rupert, who was bred by a nurse I used to work with. Our days of doing agility together are sadly over now, but he's a joy, and the perfect dog for our family!

I'm Liz, I'm a Bristol graduate from 1998, long enough to have seen most things in practice but to still enjoy learning.

In my work as a GP vet I particularly enjoy elderly care, dermatology, surgery, teaching and working with the lovely team at Vets4Pets.

Out of work, I like to be in the hills in all weathers, leading walks, litter picking, cycling or exploring with friends. Having moved from Nottingham in 2020 I'm enjoying having the Shropshire and Welsh countryside on the doorstep.

I have worked in both New Zealand and South East England so have seen a nice variety of pets. I am definitely a dog person but love our feline friends as well. We are currently pet-less but on the look out for a puppy - no doubt it'll only be a matter of time before one catches my eye that comes into the vets!

Outside of work I can be found both running after my toddler or actual running, or playing violin in Shrewsbury Symphony Orchestra.

Vets4Pets Shrewsbury is a lovely caring team of people. They're a wonderful fun bunch of colleagues to work with and it's a pleasure to come to work!

I started at Vet4Pets 13 years ago, working as an Animal Nursing Assistant, before starting my training to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse. Since qualifying I have also become the practice manager and a practice partner alongside Jonathan. On any give day you could see me on reception, in clinics, in theatre or in the office - I enjoy all my varied roles responsibilities!

I work here because I love animals.... I currently have one dog and one cat in the family but have previously had other dogs and cats before them as well as fish, hamsters and guinea pigs.  All my cats have been rescued through work and have chosen me I'd say! I'm sure there will be more to come my way!

I am really grateful for the wonderful people I work with and for the lovely clients who chose to come to see us here. They make coming to work a pleasure.

I have been working in the veterinary industry since 2011 and qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2013. I have worked in two other small animal practices including a busy veterinary hospital where I gained lots of valuable experience.

I joined the team at Vets4Pets Shrewsbury in May 2017, and was quickly promoted to Head Veterinary Nurse. I have also completed an additional qualification – a certificate in Emergency and Critical Care, which has enabled me to extend my skills and knowledge and help pass on my knowledge to the student veterinary nurses.

I am a clinical coach to students in practice which involves mentoring them through their nurses training. I love teaching the students new skills and seeing them progress.

Since having children and returning to work part time I am enjoying all aspects of nursing. I love speaking to clients during nurse consultations and building a relationship with both clients and their pets! As always I am still enjoying theatre work and anaesthesia behind the scenes taking care of your pets.

I joined Vets4Pets in 2017 and have now been a qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse since 2020. I really enjoy all the different parts of my job which can vary from monitoring anaesthetic, preforming blood tests, clipping nails as well as doing some good old deep cleaning!

Before I started working for vet4pets I was a client for many years and I was always so impressed by how caring and friendly the team was! Now as an employee of Vets4Pets I love the fact that the team are so close and friendly, also the team always all work together to achieve the best outcome for their patients.

Outside of work I have 2 miniature poodles (Vinnie & Cookie) and 2 cats (Ginge & Maze) which I hand reared from 3 weeks old. I also have an energetic toddler who keeps me busy when I am not at work. When I do get spare time I enjoy walking my dogs, reading, meeting up with friends and gaming.

I love taking care of all the patients we see here but have a soft spot for the cats!

Within my nursing I have a huge passion for anything feline especially feline anaesthesia and feline nursing. I recently gained the ISFM nursing certificate and am currently studying for the ISFM advanced behaviour for veterinary professionals.

Oliver and Dodger are my naughty cats who keep me busy along with my horse Grace.

I recently joined the practice & have relished every moment so far on my journey to qualify as a Registered Veterinary Nurse. At home, my Labradoodle Cadbury keeps me busy ... he's never far from mischief! Our favourite place to be is the Cornish coast (throwing many a tennis ball) with the sand in our toes.

I look forward to meeting you & getting to know your pets too in the future.

I have loved my experiences in the practice so far and have loved meeting all of our clients. I have wanted to become a Veterinary nurse since a young age and I am incredibly grateful for this new opportunity.

I have a Tibetan terrier cross named Star who we rescued back in 2014. Star enjoys snoozing on the sofa, loves his treat and loves his toy pheasant named Kevin.

I have worked at Vets4Pets for several years and enjoy meeting and talking to both existing and new clients alike and of course seeing their gorgeous pets

I work with a fantastic team of dedicated, professional and friendly people who are supportive and caring to both colleagues and clients alike.
At home, I have a dog called Pebble, she is a crazy Cavachon.  We picked her up as an extremely cute 8 week old puppy back in 2011.  She is a real character who is happiest at home getting lots of cuddles as she has some anxiety issues

I love working as part of such a friendly team here at Vets4Pets. I enjoy meeting all clients, old and new at reception, no two days are the same. Seeing all the different animals come through our doors is amazing. My particular love is for Staffies. My husband and I have our 8 year old fur-baby at home-Bolt, he literally melts my heart every day-except for when he destroys our sofa cushions……..which unfortunately has become a regular occurrence over the years!
When I’m not at work I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, taking bolt on exciting adventures - especially in the rain, we love the puddles. And finally being at home watching Disney films is where I’m at my happiest.

Hello! I am incredibly grateful to have started working here at Vets4Pets, to be surrounded by both colleagues and clients who clearly love animals. I could not be happier to be surrounded by other like-minded people.

At home, I have an 11-year old Jack Russell called Charlie, although I do have a deep fondness for cats.

In my spare time, I love to read a wide variety of books, and I also do volunteering at a local cat rescue.
