Meet the team
After graduating with distinction from the University of Liverpool in 2012, I worked in mixed practice for six years before moving to companion animal practice.
I have a particular interest in chronic pain management and arthritis and I have been a qualified acupuncturist since 2014.
At home, I have two cats called Crumble and Bluebell. In my free time I enjoy going for walks in the local countryside.
I joined Alsager in Feb 2021 and look forward to becoming a familiar face (albeit behind a mask for the foreseeable!).
I graduated from Bristol university and I joined the team at Alsager in April 2022.
At home I live with my 2 rescue cats & 2 rescue dogs, in my spare time I enjoy hill walking, fell running and triathlon!
Hi, I'm Becky,
I graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2021 and worked for two years at a small animal first opinion practice before moving to Vets4Pets Alsager at the start of 2024.
In my free time I love socialising with my friends, horse riding, fostering for a guinea pig rescue and looking after my own pets. I have a hamster, several guinea pigs and a tortoise but the list is still growing!
Hi, I'm Emily,
I graduated from the RVC with honours in 2014. I enjoy all aspects of small animal practice but have a particular interest in surgery.
At home I have two small children and a rescue wire haired fox terrier called Jack. In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym and exploring the Peak District
I secured my first job in a veterinary practice at the age of 14 years old when after a two week work experience placement I was offered the opportunity to work as an animal care assistant after school, at weekends and during school holidays. This lead to me qualifying as a veterinary nurse from Rodbaston agricultural college in 1996.
I spent 2 years working at the PDSA in Stoke on Trent before travelling to New Zealand were I worked in a referral hospital in Auckland for a while then continued travelling around the country picking up work as I went including fruit picking, planting trees and working in a saw mill before finishing my travels in South East Asia.
On returning to the UK In 2000, I had various head nurse positions in practices in Lancaster, Biddulph and Congleton. During this time I also worked weekends at the local emergency out of hours clinic and eventually in 2014 accepted a position of head nurse there. In 2016 I came to the opportunity to open the practice here in Alsager and in August of that year we opened the doors for the first time.
My main interests are anything small animal but particularly enjoy wound management, radiography, anything surgical and very much enjoy nurse clinics which gives me the opportunity to get to know clients and to be involved in helping to keep their pets fit and healthy throughout their lives.
Hobbies - I'm a retired rugby player after 25 years but still very keen spectator. I enjoy fishing, walking our two dogs - Bodhi a Hungarian Vizsla, and Fleur a three legged rescued German short haired pointer, reading, cooking, camping and anything else that involves me being outdoors.
I look forward to welcoming you and your pets here at Alsager.
Having worked locally doing my nurse training, I then moved to a Staffordshire/Cheshire based small animal vets, where I worked for over 10 years, becoming a practice head nurse, with responsibilities across three of the branches. I enjoy all aspects of nursing but particularly nurse clinics, inpatient care and anaesthesia.
I own a Springer Spaniel, Oakley, who was a rescue with behavioural issues. This has given me a keen interest in animal behaviour. I am also a mum of 2, so I’m always on the go. In my free time I enjoy walking, swimming and spending quality time with family and friends.
I have been in Veterinary for over 10 years now doing a combination of reception and nursing. I joined Alsager in February 2022 to complete my final year of my nurse training.
At home I live with my daughter and our menagerie of pets from dogs to guinea pigs. In my spare time I am currently teaching myself to play the guitar.
Working with animals has always been a passion of mine. From a young age I used to help out at my local pet shop and from there I started to walk the dogs on my estate which I loved. After high school I went on to ReaseHeath College to complete my NVQ in animal care, in hopes that one day I would start my veterinary nurse training.
I now have two sons Romone who is 7 years old and Rio who is 19months old, they both show great interest and love for animals. We have two dogs Fly who is a lurcher and Bolt who is a whippet and two cats Kol who is a black domestic shorthair and Elijah who is a tabby domestic shorthair.
I have been working for the Vets4Pets company for the last 8 years recently moved here from the Vets4Pets Crewe.
I have two cats named Toots and Poppy, which I have looked after since birth as mum was left at the practice and they are both trouble makers.
In my spare time I enjoy going to concerts and spending time with my family and friends.
Hey, I’m Kelly I started working at Vets4Pets Alsager in 2023 after moving over from Manchester to start a new life in the country.
I have worked in the Vets4Pets group since 2014 and love working with animals. Animals have always been a big part of my life since I was little girl. Especially horses, I spent many weekends on my friend’s farm helping look after her 2 horses and going out on rides.
In my spare time I look after my 2 rescue cats Thomas Shelby & Polly Gray, enjoy travelling to different countries around the world and hiking on the weekends when I can.
I’m very proud to be part of the Alsager Vets4Pets team and look forward to a future in my new community
