Meet the team
Alp grew up in Istanbul and graduated from Istanbul University in 2021. Alp has worked in veterinary practices and in pet nutrition sector for 2 years.
Even though Alp loved the view of Bosphorus, he decided to start a new adventure in his life and moved in to UK in 2023. Alp worked as a veterinary surgeon for a year in Southport and he moved in Cornwall in May 2024.
As a young vet, Alps passion is to improve everyday to provide the best care to his patients and his biggest hobby is boring people by forcing them to listen to his riffs since he is a metalhead!
Juliette qualified in 2012 from Duchy College with distinction in FdSc Veterinary Nursing and has been veterinary nursing in Cornwall for the past 8 years, specialising in nursing orthopaedic and ophthalmic surgical patients and is qualified as a Canine and Feline Veterinary Health Nutritionist. She has a keen interest in nurse clinics, surgery, inpatient care and providing excellent care to both patients and clients.
Juliette has lived in Cornwall all her life and enjoys spending time with her young family and her beautiful Labrador Sadie.
Lauren qualified as an RVN in 2019 and joined our well established team in July 2023.
Lauren comes from a background of hospitality and followed her dream to work with animals studying in Warwickshire and finally making her way to Cornwall in 2019. She has an interest in anaesthesia and has an ISFM qualification.
In her spare time Lauren likes to run and runs for Truro running club. She can often be seen running around the county with her gorgeous spaniel Alfie. She also has 2 cats Diesel & Bucky.
Charlie joined our practice in 2021 as a receptionist with a wealth of retail background and client facing roles under her belt.
In 2022 Charlie switched to the dark side and started studying as a student veterinary nurse. She enjoys all aspects of the nursing role and has just finished her E Portfolio.
In her spare time Charlie enjoys cross stitching, crocheting and spending time with her 3 cats Cheddar Ava and Luna.
Tracey has been with our practice since we opened in 2014. She started as one of our reception team and has progressed to Practice Manager. Tracey has completed an ILM level 3 certificate in Leadership & Management and the Vets4Pets Practice Managers Programme.
Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family and finding new places to take their lively 9 year old sprocker Lola for walks.
Kerrie joined our practice in February 2019 a receptionist and is a valued member of our team. Kerrie progressed to Head receptionist in September 2021 and has stepped into the role with confidence.
She moved to Cornwall from Yorkshire in 2004, where after leaving school became a qualified electrician. Kerrie enjoys all aspects of the head reception role and is the go to person for insurance claims.
Outside of work Kerrie enjoys spending time with her lovely family and taking care of her menagerie of animals, which include a dog, 3 cats, chickens & fish.
Natasha joined our front of house team in July 2020 after having previous reception experience with a local animal charity.
Natasha is a great addition to our reception team and enjoys all aspects of the role, especially welcoming clients and their pets to the practice.
Outside of work Natasha enjoys spending time with her little boy and likes swimming, cycling and going to the gym.
Mia is the newest member of our team & joined us in April 2024 after having previous experience in a hotel front of house environment.
