I qualified from the Royal Veterinary College and have a special interest in small animal orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery. Further to qualifying I have passed the British Small Animal Veterinary Association Surgical exams and was awarded a post graduate certificate in small animal surgery. This is an intensive three year course where Veterinary Surgeons are taught by Specialists to perform more advanced and technically demanding operations. We offer referral work for soft tissue and orthopaedics including TPLO/TTA/CCWO for cruciate surgery, fracture repair, key hole surgery and airway surgery (BOAS). In 2017 I was recognised by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons for our work in surgery and awarded Advanced Practitioner Status in orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery. I am presently studying for a second award in Advanced Small Animal Orthopaedics so as to offer our clients even more when it comes to their pet’s care.

Away from the operating table I really enjoy playing rugby. Dan and myself met on the rugby field fourteen years ago and I’m very excited to be owning a practice where I first began my veterinary career.

I also own a rescue cat called Cobweb who came to us from the RSCPA with a broken pelvis (now cured!) and a black Labrador Lyra who is always a welcoming face on reception at work.

I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2012. Joe and I decided to open our first Vets4Pets practice in Abingdon in 2016, having worked in multiple referral and first opinion veterinary hospitals across the UK prior to taking this big step. We later opened in Oxford and Newbury and are very proud of the teams we have working at each practice. I split my time between each of the three practices and have recently passed post graduate examinations with the British Small Animal Veterinary Association (BSAVA) in Small Animal Internal Medicine.

My clinical areas of interest are intensive care, acute medicine and soft tissue surgery, although I enjoy all aspects of veterinary practice. I am also developing a special interest in working dogs, and in 2020 volunteered as a trail veterinarian on the Iditarod Dog Sled race across Alaska! I believe in treating all of my patients as if they were my own animals and am extremely proud of the way the whole team here put our patients and clients first.

My wife Lucy is also a vet and one of the partners at Vets4Pets Oxford, and we live with two naughty dogs called Watson and Doug, and a rather superior three legged cat called Archie!

She started work at Vets4Pets in 2017 and became a partner at the Oxford Botley practice in 2019. She enjoys all aspects of first opinion practice but especially geriatric medicine, making a difference to our older generation of pets.

Outside of work Lucy enjoys taking long dog walks and the recent addition of baby Monty to her and Dan’s lives is keeping them both very busy! She is a keen baker and a Harry Potter super fan!

I studied at the University of Nottingham where I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine and Science with Honours, before ultimately graduating with a First Class degree in Veterinary Medicine & Surgery in 2017. I have a keen interest in surgery and I am currently studying for a post graduate certificate in Small Animal Surgery with the British Small Animal Veterinary Association. Away from veterinary life I enjoy running and have loved the challenge of completing a few half marathons and Tough Mudder events. When I get the chance you will find me helping out at neuter clinics abroad for stray dogs and cats which I love. It was a shelter in Cyprus that I ended up bringing back my bonkers and very naughty beagle pointer cross, Lucky, who keeps me entertained and active on a daily basis!

I'm always happy to give them a cuddle. I have keen interests in exotics, anaesthesia and diagnostic imaging. Outside work I have an interest in baking, gardening and keeping active. I joined the Vets4Pets team at Abingdon as a Receptionist in August 2018 after previously working at Pets at Home for 8 years.
I have always wanted to work with animals and dreamed of working in a vet practice. The team here are all so much fun to work with and it’s so lovely to meet all our clients and their pets… I also get to have sooo many puppy cuddles, which is great! 😍

It’s such an interesting and rewarding job and even though I’m on reception I do get to help out back a lot when needed.

Away from work I spend my time socialising with friends and family and being a dog mum to a very spoilt Dalmatian called Demi.

I joined the Vets4Pets team as a receptionist in June 2021, I've always loved animals and wanted to work with them from a very young age so working at a vets is perfect! I especially wanted to work with the team here as they always looked after my animals prior to this and even saved my cat Barry's life when he had to have an emergency operation to have his eye removed.

I'm lucky enough to have seven cats and two dogs in my house so I'm always surrounded by animals either at home or work. Outside of work I enjoy gaming with friends and crafting. I tend to switch around my hobbies a lot so I'm always doing something interesting!

I joined the Vets4Pets team as a receptionist in August 2023, I’ve always been an animal lover so working at a vet practice is the perfect place for me! I treat every animal that comes in as if they’re my own, as they all deserve so much love and care. Plus as an added bonus, I get to have lots of cuddles!

I have two mischievous dogs at home who I rescued from Romania called Finn and Dinky. I love their cheeky personalities and wouldn’t change them for the world, although every day after work they have to sniff my clothes so they can smell all the animals I’ve said hello to! (Very annoying).

Away from work I enjoy taking my dogs out for walks and socialising with friends. My dream is to be able to travel more and one day experience an African safari.
