Advanced services
We have invested considerably in our team and kit to make a number of advanced services available to our clients. We also accept referrals from other practices.
Orthopaedics
Our veterinary team have undertaken advanced training to allow us to perform orthopaedic surgery in our practice. If your pet develops an abnormality involving their skeleton or joints, such as elbow dysplasia, a patella (kneecap) that gets stuck, or a torn cruciate ligament, an orthopaedic procedure may help them.
Laser therapy
Laser therapy is non-painful and involves directing infra-red radiation into inflamed or damaged tissues to accelerate the body’s natural healing process. It is often used for musculoskeletal issues such as arthritis, but the benefits of laser have been suggested for a range of conditions.

Ultrasound
We are pleased to be able to offer ultrasound scanning in practice, which is a painless way to look inside your pet’s body to find out what’s going on.

Airway Surgery
Brachycephalic dog breeds such as French bulldogs and pugs may suffer with Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome, resulting in difficult breathing, sleeping and exercise intolerance. Surgery to widen the entrance to the nostrils and shortening the soft palate to help prevent life-threatening breathing problems can be performed at this surgery.
Ophthalmology
We offer Ophthalmological diagnoses and treatments of conditions of the eyes and their associated structures. Our veterinary ophthalmology service is available for a wide range of medical and surgical conditions in small animals.

“Caring for animals isn’t what I do. It is what I am.”
I have been enjoying working as a vet since 2006. I obtained a bachelors in veterinary medicine (BVSc&AH) and a masters in veterinary surgery and radiology (MVSc) from India; followed by a masters in small animal science (MSc) from Germany. Spending almost a decade at the universities (in India and Germany), I was privileged to play the roles of a student, a teaching assistant to undergrads, a researcher, attended scientific meetings and actively participated in various medical/surgical camps for pets and large animals including equines. In 2014 I moved to clinical practice to join a referral hospital from Evidensia group, Germany. I relocated to Bristol, UK in 2019 and since then I have been a part of the team at Vets4pets Brislington. My areas of interest include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery and ultrasound; however I have always been passionate about ophthalmology. Currently I am working towards gaining a post graduate certificate in veterinary ophthalmology. Outside work I enjoy spending time with family, reading, cooking yummy Indian food and listening to music.
I grew up in East London and then moved up to Scotland to train as a vet at the University of Edinburgh. While studying, I also completed an extra degree in Bioethics at the University of Bristol.
After 6 years in Scotland, I decided to make the move back down south to join the lovely team here in Brislington. I find all aspects of being a vet interesting, but particularly enjoy internal medicine and neurology cases.
Outside of work, I love to try new things and spend a lot of my time outdoors - running, surfing, outdoor swimming and taking my sister's toy poodle Dale on various adventures!
My name is Kosheila. I grew up in Malaysia. I came over to study veterinary medicine at the University of Bristol in 2008. Qualified in 2014. Since then, I have worked in first opinion and referral practices and referral hospitals. I spent a few years up north in Lincoln and Durham with a referral practice and hospital. I undertook a rotating internship. I then moved down south to Weymouth and worked for a referral practice. I’ve worked in rural settings and cities around London, Somerset, Wales, Bristol, Dorset and Devon. I travelled around India, Toronto, Malaysia with work and rescue charities. I decided to move back to Bristol over a year ago. I’m excited to be with the Brislington Vets4Pets Team. My interest is in Surgery, Cardiology and Imaging and I am currently in the process of finalising my imaging certificate. I love the community feel here in Bristol. I’m glad to be back. I am a big foodie! I love the diversity and culinary options Bristol has to offer. During my free time I enjoy walks and hikes.
Even as a small child I dreamed of a career working with animals. That dream become a reality in 2004 when I secured training at SPCA Harare as a basic dog handler. Fresh faced and eager to learn, I was thrown headfirst into the life of a busy mixed animal practice. I then enrolled with the University of Zimbabwe to do a veterinary nursing diploma, which I graduated from in 2012. I am currently practicing and seeing how things are done here in the UK. At home I left my little Border collie, Snoopy. I still enjoy training dogs basic obedience, i.e come, sit down and stay.
I have been working within the practice since 2016, starting as work experience to gain some insight in to the veterinary industry. I am now working as a care assistant for Vets4Pets and really enjoy meeting all of our lovely patients each day. I am planning in the near future to start training to become a qualified veterinary nurse, and would like to gain more experience working within theatre. In my spare time I care for my trio of dogs and enjoy riding my horses, often competing locally.
I began my career here in 2021 as a Receptionist with a keen interest in animal care. I have completed a degree in BSc Zoological Management and Conservation (Hons) and have an array of experience with exotic and endangered animals, big and small. I have completed work experience in the UK with different zoos and zoo vets over the years and have domestics experience with my own/ family pets. I have grew up with a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, tortoises, salt and freshwater fish, rodents and countless others. I have a particular interest in birds and have reared them in my own aviary for the past 14 years and have an abundance of knowledge to share. My favourite animals I have worked with in the past are zebras, gorillas and flamingos.
After graduating from the University of Gloucestershire with a Degree in Film and TV Production I moved to Bristol taking on various roles such as a dog walker and lettings co-ordinator for an estate agents. It was while working as a dog walker my love for animal care began to thrive. I got my Pet First Aid and a Diploma in Animal Care in March 2022 and joined the team at Brislington Vets4Pets as a Client Care Advisor in June 2022. I’m excited to continue to learn and gain new experiences in the vet industry and in a few years start my vet nurse training. Outside of work I enjoy reading, going to the theatre and exploring new places with my boyfriend and our beagle.
Natasha Clark
Veterinary Nurse
I’d always been set on working within the veterinary industry, and in 2019 I attended Bristol University to complete the Veterinary Nursing and Bioveterinary Science degree. I graduated with a first class honours degree. From here, I completed a nursing graduate scheme at Langford referral hospital, circulating around all the departments where I found my passion for theatre and ECC.
After the graduate scheme, I came to Brislington Vets4Pets and I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here! I look forward to the future and applying my current knowledge to a first opinion setting. I have a soft spot for German Shepherds - having grown up with them all my life, as well as small furries, such as hamsters and rats. In my free time I love listening to music and doing jigsaw puzzles!
I joined the practice in March 2016 and feel very privileged to work with such a friendly and caring team.
I lived in the Philippines for 8 years and whilst there I cared for and rescued a multitude of animals. My menagerie consisted of 5 dogs (4 from the streets of Manila), an iguana, green crested lizard, a little scops owl, lovebirds, finches, a rooster, 3 ducks, some fish, a bat and even an eagle for a few days. Since moving back to the UK my house is a little tamer and I currently have a small flock of zebra finches and a couple of diamond doves.
I guess it was only natural for me to end up working at a vet practice with my love for animals.
I am quite new to the veterinary world but have been thoroughly enjoying the role! Starting as a Client Care Advisor, I enjoy being able to help our clients and patients receive the best care possible. Now as Head Receptionist I am even better placed to support you through every step.
I studied Animal Behaviour and Welfare BSc at the University of Bristol before going on to work as an Aquarist in Aquariums for 5 years. In this time I worked with a huge variety of animals including horses, fish, reptiles, and amphibians.
I currently have my own rescue dog who I love hiking with on my days off.
I have adored animals my whole life and love how their presence is proven to reduce stress, anxiety and depression. My admiration grew further in the pandemic when I got my kitty and he made the lockdown not so lonely. I have a black and white tuxedo fur baby called Pluto and he is the craziest and cuddliest kitty I’ve ever known.
After finishing school, I tried many different career options but have learnt that animals and their care are my passion and joined the practice to develop that passion. I’m not sure what path of veterinary medicine I would like to pursue in the future but know that working with animals is where I belong.
You may recognise my face after previously working at Vets4Pets Brislington as a Receptionist 5 years ago. After exploring alternative career options including working for the NHS and veterinary marketing, I decided to return. I have always had a passion for animals, and I really enjoy meeting all of your lovely pets each day, especially those with waggy tails!
Outside of work, my adventurous spirit takes me on journeys both within the UK and across the globe, including South East Asia and Brazil. I also enjoy hiking with my extremely hyper, but loveable Cocker Spaniel, Ralphy.
Skye Beirne
Client Care Adviser
Hi there I’m Billie,
I have always had a passion for animal welfare, which holds a special place in my heart. I have a degree in zoological management and science, and I previously spent 3 years working with zoo animals such as orangatangs and binturongs, followed by 2 years in the veterinary industry.
Outside of work I am devoted to the world of War Hammer and creativity, I spend most of my time creating and painting goblins. Other than that, I love going to pole fitness and taking care of my bearded dragon, named Stitch.
Vets4Pets Brislington is committed to bringing you affordable and high quality care via our modern, well equipped practice. Facilities include a lab, pharmacy, digital x-ray and ultrasound. Plus, on site car parking too!
The friendly team can't wait to meet all of their new clients!
