I'm Michelle, your Practice Partner and Senior Vet in the practice. I graduated from Glasgow Vet School in 2005, and moved to Lancashire where I spent 9 years in small animal practice. Four years after qualifying, I became the sole practitioner in a branch surgery of a busy referral hospital and had the opportunity to spend time working alongside many specialists in their field. In 2015, I became the partner at Newton Mearns Vets4Pets and now we have recently moved to Glasgow Pollokshaws Vets4Pets. I am very proud of what we have achieved and am thankful for the incredibly hard working team we have who keep the practice running with their knowledge and expertise to keep your pets healthy. Client, patient care and client continuity is very important to me and I particularly enjoy developing trusting relationships with both clients and patients. I enjoy working up medical cases, have an interest in rabbit health and although I love seeing all furry friends, have a secret love for cats! I absolutely love being a vet, and although some days can be challenging, I love being part of such a great team who are highly committed to providing the very best care for your pets. I live in the West end of Glasgow with my husband, our 18 month old son, Thomas and our 2 mischievous cats, Alfie and Louie, who are slowly accepting that we have a new addition to our family! When I'm not looking after patients, I am most often found running around after my little boy! I also enjoy spending time with family and friends, keeping fit, travelling and cooking.

I joined the team at Vets4pets Pollokshaws in August 2021.

I graduated from Glasgow Vet School in 2004 and have worked in small animal general practice in and around Glasgow ever since. In 2010 I completed the abva foundation course in veterinary acupuncture. I also particularly enjoy soft tissue surgery.

I grew up with a passion for animals and animal welfare. Having had a variety of pets including budgies, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs and a rabbit and having recently lost our two 16 year old family border terriers I know both the joy and the heartache that pet ownership brings.

I have 2 young children which keep me very busy but I have recently found some time to enjoy horse riding again.

I'm Natalie and I joined the team in December 2021 on the weekend rota.

I graduated from Glasgow University in 2012 and spent 18 months in Cheshire before moving back to Glasgow where I have worked in small animal practice since.

I love working with pets and their owners to provide a high standard of care. I have a particular interest in clinical animal behaviour.

At home I have a husband, two young children and two dogs who keep me busy and when I have spare time I enjoy baking.

I look forward to meeting you and your pets soon!

I'm Lucy and I joined the Vets4Pets Pollokshaws team as Head Nurse in April 2020.

I started my Veterinary Nurse training in 2002 and qualified in 2005.  Over the last 18 years I have worked in a variety of first opinion, charity, emergency critical care and referral practices, in both permanent and locum roles.

My particular areas of interest are anaesthesia, surgical nursing and inpatient care.  I also enjoy learning new skills and keeping up-to-date with developments in the profession.

Most of all I love spending time with my patients and looking after them to the best of my ability.  I feel very lucky to have a career that I love, it really is a privilege to care for animals and it brings me a lot of happiness.

Prior to my life as an RVN, I studied Zoology at the University of London, close to where I grew up in Surrey.  I moved to Glasgow in 2005 and currently live in Helensburgh with my husband.  Outside of work I can be found hill-walking, doing yoga, getting lost in a good book and planning travel adventures.

I knew I always wanted to work with animals and studied Animal Biology at Glasgow University before attending Edinburgh College to gain my Level £ Diploma in Veterinary Nursing in 2014.  Since qualifying I have attended a number of different courses to improve my nursing skills and hope to complete a certificate in Surgical Nursing.

I joined the Vets4Pets team in Pollokshaws at the start of 2020 after taking a year off  maternity leave to spend time with my daughter and I also got to spend more time with my furbaby Rosie. Being a Sprocker Spaniel she is full of beans and hugs and is a great companion.  As much as I love most animal, Spaniels definitely hold a special place in my heart.

I love my job and look forward to working with you all in the future.

I have been a staff member from April 2022 and its been my first time working in a Veterinary practice. I adore my job working in the practice, no day is the same. I am very much a people person, which is a big part of being on reception as you are the first smiley, friendly person owners are dealing with . My love for animals is huge but especially Dogs and Cats and the best part is getting cuddles form all the kittens and puppies.

I have a cat (Coco) who is 14 year old and a wonderful lady and hoping to get a dog one day. I previously volunteered for Borrow my doggie which is a fantastic charity to help people out walking there doggies when they are not around, it was a very satisfying role and hope to go back to it one day

In my previous role I was in sales for a major hotel company which I was made redundant and though I would try something different which has worked out for me. I am a very sociable person and love going out with friends and also keeping active at the gym and my biggest passion is my holidays.

We are also partnered with the Woodland Trust to support the preservation of our National Woodland, as part of the Pet Memory Scheme. Please click on the link for more details. https://www.vets4pets.com/about-us/woodland-trust/

As part of our pledge to be more sustainable and reduce Waste in 2024, we aim to
- Use reusable materials where possible to reduce single use waste.
- Recycle materials in line with the good veterinary waste guidance
- Ensure all lights are switched off when not required.
- Heating and air conditioning to only be used when the practice is in use.
- Reduce our paper usage, utilising digital forms where possible
- Minimise the use of anaesthetic gas where possible
- Maintain good stock control measures to reduce medicinal waste
- Dispose of drugs correctly
- Adhere to the responsible antimicrobial guidance.
- Prescribe anti-parasiticides responsibly according to owner and pets lifestyle.

Disposal of medications
The safest way to dispose of unused medications is to return them to us for safe disposal. Please return any out of date or unused medications or flea and worming treatments to us.
