MRCVS

Read Caroline Keohane bio

Caroline joined Weymouth Vets for Pets in May 2024 as a new graduate Vet. Growing up on a dairy farm in rural Ireland; Caroline has always been surrounded by animals and it was always a big ambition to study Veterinary Medicine so Caroline committed to a career change and studied at the University of Veterinary Medicine in Budapest and graduated in February 2024.
Caroline is particularly interested in General Medicine and hopes to specialize later but for now is embracing exposure to all of the different disciplines.
Caroline is enjoying the buzz of Weymouth and the beautiful scenery which is never too far away. Of course, she misses the beloved family labrador Bailey and her Dachshund Cross Polly at home but she is very grateful to be so close to the coast. In her spare time she enjoys keeping fit, relaxing on the beach, sampling the endless delicious ice-cream on offer in Weymouth and hopes to get back horse-riding soon too as a canter along the beach is very tempting!!
