Meet the team
Brunhilda studied a Bachelor of Science degree and a Veterinary Science degree in South Africa. She has been living and working in Somerset for over 17 years.
She has always worked in small practices and enjoys the homely feel of getting to know clients individually. She enjoys general medicine and has studied a 2 year feline medicine course. She also has an interest in small mammals and dentistry.
I am Johan van Sittert. I am the joint venture partner and veterinary surgeon in Vets4Pets. My main responsibility is the provision of high quality compassionate care to all my patients and their owners.
My main goal is to improve the quality of life of my patients and also to guide their owners to be able to provide the best possible life for them. I believe that prevention is always better than cure and is always happy to discuss preventative measures like vaccinations and parasite control as this is the corner stone of a happy and hopefully long life of the pet. I have a special interest in surgery, both soft tissue and orthopaedic and obtained my Post graduate Certificate in small animal surgery in 2017.
I am originally from South Africa and graduated from Onderstepoort (University of Pretoria) at the end of 22. I started Working in England in 2003 in Peterborough. I was there for four years in a companion animal hospital before returning to South Africa. While in South Africa for 2 years I was focusing mostly on production animals, mostly cattle and sheep farming. Returning to London in 2008, since then I have been working exclusively in companion animal practice.
In my private time I like photography and walking. I am also a qualified scuba diver with a PADI Rescue diver qualification. I have a Springer Spaniel called Lulu, a cat called Lilly Rose and a rabbit called Daisy. I do like the fact that no two days in practice is ever the same. Also seeing the difference we make in some of our patient's lives is what gets me to get up and go to work every day.
Vets4Pets Street is committed to bringing you affordable, high quality care via a modern, well equipped practice, including a lab, pharmacy, digital x-ray and ultrasound. Plus, on site car parking too!
The friendly team can't wait to meet all of their new clients!
