Meet the team
I qualified from Glasgow Vet School in 2000 and have been working in small animal practices in Ayrshire since then. I have been a partner at Vets4pets Ayr since 2011, Irvine since 2017 and in 2023 we also acquired the Kilmarnock branch.
I aim to provide an excellent standard of veterinary care to our patients and look forward to meeting you. I enjoy all aspects of my work but have a particular interest in all types of surgery and rabbit medicine. Outside work I enjoy riding my horse Obi and relaxing at home with my dogs Blue a red collie, Beryl the merle collie, Harry the rescue cat and my ever expanding collection of chickens!
I qualified from Glasgow University in 2015 and started working in Ireland shortly after. I returned home to Ayrshire after spending 2 years in Northern Ireland working in mixed practice. Although I loved working in mixed practice my passion lies with small animals, I love to focus my time on both medicine and surgery cases.
At home I have my dog, Ruby the labrador.
My name is Kate, I graduated from Edinburgh Dick Vet and worked for many years in small animal practice in Lancashire. I have recently returned to Scotland and am enjoying settling in Ayrshire.
I enjoy redecorating houses and walking my standard poodle on the beach in my spare time.
Hello, my name is Alastair. I grew up in Ayr and qualified from Glasgow Vet School in 2010. I have returned to Ayrshire after 13 years practicing in The North West of England, mainly Merseyside. I have an ageing rescue cat named Dottie who has made the journey with me for her first time coming to Scotland.
I am Lauryn. I graduated from Glasgow Vet School in 2023 as have been working across Vets4Pets Ayrshire since then. Throughout my studies I have always had a strong interest in small animal practice.
Working alongside such an experienced and passionate team here has been an incredible experience thus far, and I am very excited to continue meeting and providing care for the pets and owners of Vets4Pets Ayrshire!
My name is Claire I graduated from Edinburgh Vet School in 2020 and have been working in a mixed practice in Ayrshire since then. I moved to Vets4Pets Irvine in May 2024 and have thoroughly enjoyed meeting all the wonderful pets and their owners. I have a keen interest in surgical cases and enjoy spending time in the operating theatre. I relish the challenge and variety that each day in the practice brings, no day is ever the same! In my spare time I enjoy helping on my fiancé’s a farm in North Ayrshire, or exploring the countryside with our dogs Jura and Bruce.
I originally worked for Vets4Pets in Ayr where I qualified from in 2014. Since then I have worked at The Royal Dick School of Veterinary Medicine in Edinburgh where I got experience in all areas of the hospital through ICU, surgical/medicine wards and exotics. I have also worked for local veterinary practices carrying out tasks such as monitoring anaesthetics, nurse consultations and patient care. I then started locum work mostly around Vets4Pets surgeries which gave me a great insight into how each individual surgery works. I have been part owner in Irvine since 2017 and recently became a partner in our Kilmarnock branch.
I really enjoy running nurse clinics as I find them really rewarding and feel like it builds up a really good relationship with both clients and patients.
At home I have 3 collies who I love spending time with and taking walks to the river for some fun.

Hello, my name is Becky and I’ve been at Vets4Pets Irvine since the end of May 2022 and did my year of student nurse placement here.
I’ve learned a lot since being here and I’m still learning as I go! I have a bit of a soft spot for any cats that come into the practice and have 4 at home named Leo, Milo, Oslo and Macaroni. I also have a very crazy cockapoo called Bowie.
Hi, I am Georgina and I am one of three partners and the practice manager here in Vets4Pets Irvine. I started at Vets4Pets Ayr in 2013 when I returned to work from maternity leave, prior to this I worked in retail management for nine years before having my son Benjamin.
I currently work across Ayr & Irvine and we have recently taken over the Kilmarnock branch. My role is to look after our team of 34 colleagues, we have a wonderful group of colleagues who care passionately for our patients and clients and I am honoured to work alongside them. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with family and Cocker Spaniel 'Kingsley' (who genuinely is the King of the household)! I also have at home two cats, Panther & Pickle.
I’m Niamh, I have been with Vets4Pets since early 2021 when I started as a client care advisor, since then I have worked my way up to senior client care and now to client services manager. I am extremely grateful for the opportunities this job has given me, and love seeing all of our clients old & new with their furbabies!
At home I have 3 dogs; my whippets Flynn and Ivy and my little Italian greyhound Perrie, who only has 3 legs.
Hi I’m Dom!
I started working at Vets4Pets in Irvine at the beginning of 2022 and really enjoy my role. At home, I have two amazing doggies, my precious beagle Cloud and beautiful Siberian husky, Sif. I spend a lot of my spare time with my dogs and my partner, Ben. We go on a lot of fun nature walks where we get to explore.
I love meeting all of our clients and can't wait to see what the future holds for me at Vets4Pets.
Hello, my name is Jen, I have just recently joined the Vets4Pets team as a Client Care Advisor and lately taken on the role of manging the social media. Although I am mainly based in Irvine, you may also see me in Ayr and Kilmarnock.
I am looking forward to meeting even more of our clients and getting stuck in about creating great content for our social pages.
At home I have a 6-year-old golden retriever called Gus who still acts like a puppy and loves to pose for pictures and Tiktoks.
I'm Rachael, I started in Vets4Pets in mid 2023 as the senior client care advisor in our Irvine branch. This is a new role for me as I have previously worked in hospitality management.
I'm looking forward to seeing what this new career path brings, I love meeting all the clients and their pets!
At home I have Petra, my beagle, who is always up to no good! In my spare time, I also rescue & care for guinea pigs.
