Advanced services
We have invested considerably in our team and kit to make a number of advanced services available to our clients. We also accept referrals from other practices.
Orthopaedics
Our veterinary team have undertaken advanced training to allow us to perform orthopaedic surgery in our practice. If your pet develops an abnormality involving their skeleton or joints, such as elbow dysplasia, a patella (kneecap) that gets stuck, or a torn cruciate ligament, an orthopaedic procedure may help them.
Ultrasound
We are pleased to be able to offer ultrasound scanning in practice, which is a painless way to look inside your pet’s body to find out what’s going on.

Meet the team
I qualified in Milan, Italy, in 2007 and spent the past 10 years caring for my fluffy patients. I moved to England in 2009 and have been working in small animal charity and private practice since then. I am passionate about Veterinary Ophthalmology and have obtained the GpCert (Ophthal) post-graduate qualification in 2014. I believe each and every one of our patients are different from one another and very special, and I thoroughly enjoy getting to know their cheeky characters. Life at the practice is busy with poorly pets and nothing compares with seeing them get better and wagging their happy tails again!
I started my Vet nursing career in 2014 at another Vets4Pets practice, and qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in June 2016 after completing a degree in Veterinary Nursing Science.I joined the Hayling Island team in September 2021 as Head Nurse.
I am a clinical coach and have trained our student nurses. I have a keen interest in radiography and emergency care; and completed a BSAVA merit aware in emergency and critical care in 2018.
I have also completed a Certificate in Feline Nursing in February 2024 and helped our practice achieve their Cat Friendly Status in 2022
I started studying Veterinary nursing in 2018 and qualified in august 2022. I first joined the Hayling team in May 2020 on placement and started working in Sept 2021. My main interests are in triage, surgical procedures and lumps and bumps, now I have qualified I am hoping to gain extra qualifications in these areas.
I qualified from Sparsholt College as a qualified registered veterinary nurse in May 2023.I am interested in exotics such as rabbits and guinea pigs. This has always been my passion but when in practice, I am really interested in laboratory work and enjoy going through the process with the client of post operatively care. I love the passion and friendliness of the Hayling Island team and very grateful to be a part of it.
Claire has completed her Veterinary Nurse degree at Sparsholt University qualifying as a registered veterinary nurse in July 2024, after 13 years as a therapeutic Radiographer. Claire lives on Hayling Island and volunteers at the local donkey sanctuary. She loves a quick cuddle with the patients when she gets a chance. Her interests are small furries and anaesthesia
I have been with the great team at Vets4Pets Hayling Island for the past 2 years. Coming from a retail management role I have a keen interest in customer service. Getting to meet all our wonderful patients and building a rapport with their owners is a highlight for me. I have a personal love for all animals but at home I own 2 guinea pigs, a cat and a horse.
My name is Sylvia, one of the veterinary receptionists. Working at Vets4Pets is a new and wonderful experience for me, I'm enjoying getting to meet lovely pets and their owners. As a child I was always the one that volunteered to look after the classroom pets during school holidays. We as a family always had animals in the house; I grew up with dogs, cats, and budgies. Being around animals is a great thing and I am lucky for it to be part of my job. I am working with a wonderful team and I am so proud of our new practice. In my spare time I love walking, reading, knitting, going to the theatre and cinema, and not forgetting having my grandchildren to stay.
Hi I’m Nikki, one of the receptionists here. I grew up around animals, having dogs, cats, hamsters and rabbits throughout my childhood. I live on a farm and am lucky enough to have a pony and two dogs keeping me out of trouble. Working here with such a great team and being able to meet all of your amazing pets is like a dream come true for me. I have always wanted to work alongside animals and I absolutely love it.
I was lucky enough to become one of the receptionists in April 2022, which has been a dream come true. Over the years I have always had animals in my life and never loose my love for them. I share my home with 3 cats, a dog and 5 tortoises. When working at the practice, I’m really enjoying getting to know all of our wonderful clients and being a part of such a caring team of people.
I’ve always been a huge animal lover, and probably had most small animals growing up. It has been my lifelong dream to have a career working with animals, so feel so lucky and privileged to be part of such a fantastic team at Vets4Pets, Hayling Island, meeting all the lovely clients and their animal companions. I love taking my dogs on long country walks and my other huge passion is for Hedgehog rescue, rehabilitation and conservation. I have been part of my local hedgehog rescue for a couple of years, and to be able to help with these unique, incredible and special animals when they are at their lowest ebb is a privilege and a very rewarding thing when they are well enough again to be released back to the wild where they belong.
Vets4Pets Hayling Island is committed to bringing you affordable, high quality care via a modern, well equipped practice, including a lab, pharmacy, digital x-ray and ultrasound. Plus, on site car parking too!
The friendly team can't wait to meet all of their new clients!
