Advanced services
We have invested considerably in our team and kit to make a number of advanced services available to our clients. We also accept referrals from other practices.
Orthopaedics
Our veterinary team have undertaken advanced training to allow us to perform orthopaedic surgery in our practice. If your pet develops an abnormality involving their skeleton or joints, such as elbow dysplasia, a patella (kneecap) that gets stuck, or a torn cruciate ligament, an orthopaedic procedure may help them.
Laparoscopy surgery (keyhole surgery)
Laparoscopy is a minimally invasive surgical technique to explore the abdomen with two to three small ‘keyhole’ incisions. We are pleased to have invested considerably in our team and kit to make minimally invasive surgery available to our clients.

Ultrasound
We are pleased to be able to offer ultrasound scanning in practice, which is a painless way to look inside your pet’s body to find out what’s going on.

Meet the team
I graduated from Liverpool Vet School in 2005 and since then I have worked solely in small animal practice in Greater Manchester, Cheshire and North Wales. When the opportunity came up to run my own practice in my own neighbourhood of Chester I jumped at the chance. I love being a small animal vet and I am particularly passionate about surgery. I gained my RCVS Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice (General Small Animal Surgery) in December 2012. I am also an RCVS listed Advanced Practitioner. Outside of work I provide food and shelter for my local wild hedgehog population, I enjoy running, hill walking, doing DIY with my husband and going on holidays abroad, especially to wine-producing areas.
I have worked in various roles at vets’ practices for the past 9 years and ultimately achieved my dream of becoming a veterinary surgeon when I graduated from the University of Liverpool School of Veterinary Science in 2020. I have been lucky enough to combine two of my main loves, travelling and animal care, by working with charities in India and Africa giving neutering and shelter medicine support where it is needed most. After experiencing the shelter medicine and conditions of the countries I have visited I feel so fortunate to be part of such a modern and professional practice here in the UK! I have a particular passion for small animal surgery and anaesthesia and I am currently studying towards a Postgraduate Certificate in Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care.
When I am not working, I love nothing more than spending time with my family, including our two whippets (Rupert and Henry) and Howard the tortoise. As well as travelling, skiing, scuba-diving, open water swimming and cycling.
I have been a qualified vet for 10 years.
I started my career in mixed practice but soon realised that my passion was working with small animals and the variety I get from day to day.
I officially joined the Chester Caldy team in September 2021 and work part time for the practice after having my little girls.
Some of you may already recognise me from before September 2021 as I worked for Emma as a locum on/off for 3 years or so.
While I am not at work, I have a pretty full house with my husband, 2 step children and 2 toddlers !
I graduated from the Ankara University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Turkey in 2023 and joined our team in September 2023 via the New Graduate Program, relocating to the UK.
I currently live in Chester and have 2 lovely dogs named Elif and Cooper.
My favorite hobbies include folk dance, yoga and going on trips.

I’m one of the veterinary nursing assistants here at Chester Caldy Vets4pets and started working in June 2020. Previous to this I studied Animal Behaviour at Chester University and I’m currently studying towards a Veterinary Nursing Assistant qualification. You’ll find me mainly helping out the vets and nurses with the animals, although I do spend time helping our lovely clients on reception.
When I’m not in work I enjoy going on bike rides with my boyfriend, hiking and playing with my two cats Neelix and Mr Pickles.
I started working here at Chester CaldyVets4Pets as a Client Care Advisor in January 2022.
I’ve always loved animals growing up and went onto study animal behaviour and welfare locally.
I worked as a veterinary receptionist elsewhere previously and couldn’t wait to start again! It’s a lovely place to work, everybody here is so friendly and I have loved getting to know our clients and their beautiful pets.
I live with my bearded dragon, Jager and 2 lovely cats, Kit and Coal. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my friends and pets.
I look forward to welcoming you and your pets into our practice!
