Meet the team
I studied at the University of Surrey and graduated as part of the first ever class in July 2019. I’ve known the practice for over 7 years and am excited to finally be part of the fantastic team. My veterinary interests include surgery and exotics (the small furry kind). When I’m not at work my three spaniels Peanut, Snoop and Olive keep me rather busy! When I do have time you’ll find me reading a good book.
I completed my first degree of infectious diseases at the University of Edinburgh, after which I decided to follow my dream of becoming a veterinary surgeon at the University of veterinary sciences Brno in the Czech Republic.
I graduated in June 2022 and was very excited to start my veterinary career with the amazing team at the Newport Branch.
My veterinary interests are diagnostic imaging and developing my surgical skills. Outside of work I enjoy going for long walks and jet skiing. I also love experimenting with new recipes for cooking or baking.
I gained my degree in Veterinary Nursing Science in 2006 and since then I have worked in both first opinion and referral practices.
I have a keen interest in rehabilitation therapies and anaesthesia, emergency and critical care. In 2011 I gained my Nursing Certificate in Anaesthesia and Critical Care from the European School of Veterinary Post Graduate Studies.
I originally joined Vets4Pets when Paul first opened the practice and then went on to work in a referral hospital before re-joining Paul and his team in February 2015.
I am a registered veterinary nurse. I have been working at vets4pets for the past year and a half. I enjoy seeing each and every patient and I am equally interested in physiotherapy and and nursing the inpatients. Outside of work I am either busy walking my dogs, out horse riding or often have my nose in a book.
I really enjoy being a veterinary nurse here at Newport and meeting all your furry friends.
I have a fond interest in cats and you'll often find me in the cattery making friends with all our feline patients.
Clinically, I enjoy laboratory diagnostic work and inpatient care.
Outside of work, I enjoy painting and foraging with my partner and little boy.
Started working at vets4pets in 2017 it's great to work as part of such a dedicated team in this popular practice It’s rewarding to be able to help our clients and pets when they need us.
I started working at Vets4pets in August 2021, I am thoroughly enjoying it! I love greeting all the animals that come through our doors.
I have a wide range of animals from tortoises to a donkey and most things in between, In my spare time I enjoy taking my dogs up the woods with my Husband.
I started working at Vets4Pets in January 2023. I love greeting all the Clients and their pets.
I love being outdoors and spending time with my family and enjoy taking my dogs Ben and Doug on long walks.
My name is Ellie and I have worked here at Vets 4 Pets Newport since October 2023, Previous to working at the practise I qualified as a photographer in university and have worked on a self-employed basis within the equine industry.
I thoroughly enjoy working here welcoming in all the animals that come through our doors on a daily basis.
I started working here in November 2023 as a VCA. I enjoy looking after all the animals that come in everyday. When finishing work I get to go home to my three dogs Tinkerbell, Shankly and Delfina that cause a lot of chaos.
I joined Vets4Pets practice in February 2024.

Please be aware that due to people not turning up for appointments we now take a £40 deposit when booking appointments. This deposit will be refunded at the consultation. If you cancel with less than 4 hours notice or do not attend this appointment then the deposit will be lost.
