Having qualified as a Vet I now have had over 10 years experience in small animal practice dealing with complex cases. I have a special interest in soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, and I am currently studying for the Certificate in Small Animal Surgery and Orthopaedic to improve my skills and further my knowledge. I have a lovely cat, called Annabelle, who is part of the family.

I love caring for, and working with, animals and have in the past volunteered in Kenya where I looked after both domestic and wild animals.

I feel very lucky to have joined Vets4Pets Buckingham in April 2019. I am loving it here, the team is amazing and I am really excited to now be the owner of this fantastic practice..

She has done some charity work in Morocco and Wales and regularly volunteers in a local animal rescue. Sandy is particularly interested in soft tissue surgery and medicine, and likes to refresh and update her knowledge with continuing education and reading.

When not at work, Sandy is kept occupied by her son, husband, mother and semi-feral rescue cat called Smokey.

Emma started her veterinary nurse career back in 2007. Over the years, she has found a love of consulting. Emma loves meeting new patients and clients and enjoys helping guide them through the ups and downs of pet ownership. Emma has a particular soft spot for our feline friends and has three rescue cats herself that she has acquired through her years of being in practice.

In her spare time, Emma enjoys looking after her furry and feathered companions and runs a small business for small furries. Emma enjoys spending time with her young family of 3 boys, who all same to have the same passion for animals and as good husbandry as their mum.

Emma can't wait to meet the wonderful Buckingham clients and their lovely animals (some she will already have met when she worked here a few years back)!

My favourite part about the job is inpatient care and lab work. After completing A-Levels, I began studying BSc Veterinary Nursing at Hartpury University in 2021 and  I am set to qualify as an RVN in 2025. So far I have developed a strong interest in Surgical and Anaesthesia Nursing which is the chosen topic for my final year dissertation.

I joined Buckingham Vets4Pets in June 2024 to work alongside my studies. Outside of all this, I spend time with my cat Frankie, snake Jake and budgie Ollie. I also go on plenty of dog walks with friends and enjoy my so-called 'granny hobbies' such as reading, baking and crochet.

Since I was little I have always had a love for animals, growing up with two Springer Spaniels (Cooper and Maisie) as my companions. On leaving school I went to Moulton College to study Level 3 Animal Management. I then went on to complete my Degree in Animal Science at the University of Wales Trinity St David .

Alongside completing my degree I was working fulltime in a dog day-care centre where I was for four years, looking after everyone's furry children. I also completed a Canine First Aid Course.

I started working at Buckingham Vets4Pets in October 2023 taking the position of Client Care Advisor and I am loving meeting people and their lovely pets. I started my new role as a Veterinary Care Assistant in June 2024, and hope to progress into a career of Veterinary Nursing in the future.

I started my career working at a leisure centre as a Senior Lifeguard and Swimming Teacher, and then decided to go to university to study Health, Nutrition and Exercise. I worked at Hollister as a Lead Brand Representative alongside studying for my degree. I always loved helping people, however I decided I wanted to work in a veterinary setting to help people and animals alike. I joined Buckingham Vets4Pets as Practice Coordinator in May 2024 and am loving meeting all of the animals that come into the practice.

Outside of work, I love travelling and have been to over 30 countries so far. I do agility with my GSD x Husky, and love to stay active in my free time by doing yoga, snowboarding and cycling.

I started work at Bicester Village where I enjoyed learning new skills working in a fast-paced setting. After 2 years I decided I needed a change and was hired at Mercedes F1 working in their hospitality section. It was an amazing opportunity to branch out my skills and I loved meeting new people. However, after growing up with animals I realised that was my passion.
I joined Vets4Pets in April 2024 and I realised this was where I needed to be. I love meeting all the pets and getting to know the owners. I have learnt so much here already!

Outside of work, I love seeing my friends and spending time with family, as well as walking my own two labradors!

Vets4Pets Buckingham is committed to bringing you affordable, high quality care via a modern, well equipped practice, including a lab, pharmacy, digital x-ray and ultrasound. Plus, on site car parking too!

The friendly team can't wait to meet all of their new clients!
